At least two coating layers are applied to at least one of said first and second surfaces, wherein said at least two coating layers substantially cover said at least one of said first and second surfaces, and wherein a lubricant is applied between said at least two coating layers. Articles, such as pouches, made from the water-soluble substrate, are also disclosed herein.
