  • Patent number: 4485915
Abstract: A child resistant package having an outer container and an inner product supporting tray; the inner tray is adapted to be inserted into the container to a locked position and removed therefrom by disengaging a locking means and withdrawing the tray; the inner tray is disengaged from the container by pressing inwardly a pair of flexible tabs formed at the back end of the side walls of the tray; in a preferred embodiment a blister pack containing tablets is disposed on the product tray and the tray bottom is provided with holes through which the tablets in the blister pack may be pushed.

  • Patent number: 4406376
Abstract: A reversible child resistant closure having a child resistant and a non-child resistant mode of use. The closure is characterized by its low profile and tab that extends outwardly from the closure; this tab being engageable from below when closure is rotated into the appropriate position on the container. An upwardly extending relatively low annular rib is provided on the roof of the closure which serves as the means by which the closure is engaged by the container neck when the closure is inserted into the container neck in its non-child resistant mode.

  • Patent number: 4384916
Abstract: A method and apparatus for assembling hollow balls from molded hemispheres which are fed to the apparatus. The hemispheres fed to the apparatus are received in a plurality of slots located about the circumference of a wheel. While the hemispheres are in the slots, an applicator disc applies a solvent to the hemispheres and pressure cams force the hemispheres together, thereby forming complete balls. The balls are then discharged from the apparatus. The same apparatus may be used to assemble hollow balls from hemispheres which are adapted to be snapped together. In that case, no solvent is applied by the applicator disc and the pressure applied by the pressure cams is used to snap the hemispheres together into hollow balls.
