  • Patent number: 8297216
Abstract: The forever flyer flag and flagpole supports a flag in an unfurled position via a spring-loaded support arm that fully extends the top, side of a flag via a support arm pocket. The spring-loaded support arm is connected to a flag tube lift that rises up and down upon the flagpole via a rope that runs within the flagpole via a pulley. The side of the flag nearest the flagpole is fully extended via flag attachment grommets that are based upon the flag tube lift. The flag and flag tube lift can rotate about the flagpole irrespective of the flag height.

  • Publication number: 20070168000
Abstract: A semiconductor device system includes a chamber, one or more semiconductor devices disposed within the chamber and operable to emit light, and an insulator fluid disposed within the chamber. The insulator fluid may be in contact with the semiconductor devices and operable to decrease the temperature of the semiconductor devices. The insulator fluid may comprise deionized water.

  • Patent number: 6016724
Abstract: A pivoting socket wrench socket attachment is provided including a socket wrench with an outboard end including at least one a detent formed therein. A socket attachment includes an inboard face, an outboard face, and a periphery formed therebetween. The outboard face has a bore formed therein for attachment with at least one of a nut and a bolt. An inboard face is provided including an opening defined by at least one face with an indent formed therein for engaging the detent of the socket wrench. The open is further adapted to allow the pivoting of the socket attachment with respect to the socket wrench about an axis which intersects the detent and indent.

  • Patent number: 5099214
Abstract: A waveguide having walls defining an opening. An optically transmissive aperture in one wall allows light from an optical illumination source such as a laser diode array to illuminate the opening in which is located a semiconductor slab positioned to be illuminated. When the array illuminates the slab, the propagation characteristics (phase velocity and attenuation constant) of the waveguide changes. A continuous wave signal passing through the waveguide is thus attenuated and phase shifted. The laser array may be pulsed on and off while still maintaining the altered propagation constant.

  • Patent number: 4459564
Abstract: A length of conventional hollow waveguide having an interior rectangular cavity has openings in the broad walls along a common axis. A diode support structure positions a negative resistance diode in the waveguide through one opening. A DC bias conductor structure positions a bias conductor through the other opening and into contact with the diode to provide a DC bias thereto. These two structures are secured together and to the conventional waveguide structure.
