  • Patent number: 4452303
Abstract: A device and method for recovering heat from the soil and groundwater, comprise heat-exchanging means consisting of an inner tube, an outer tube and partitions forming longitudinal channels between said inner and outer tube.An inlet for heat-exchanging fluid and an outlet for heat-exchanging fluid are present for conveying a heat-exchanging fluid through said longitudinal channels. The heat-exchanging means are preferably placed in a perforated casing allowing passage of liquid but not of soil particles. The casing consists preferably of an outer casing tube and an inner casing tube, casing partitions providing longitudinal casing channels. For allowing passage of groundwater the outer casing tube and the inner casing tube are provided with perforations.Heat is recovered by passing a heat-exchanging fluid through the casing channels.

  • Patent number: 4351791
Abstract: Method for installing a sealing body in a groove of a socket by forming a closed space in the inner side of the socket. Said closed space is bound by an inner core and an inflatable core being connected with each other by a connecting wall part and is filled with a flowable thermoplastic elastomer through an opening in the wall of the groove. After setting of the thermoplastic elastomer, the two cores are removed.

  • Patent number: 4150087
Abstract: A tube of thermoplastic material is heated to plasticity, whereupon the heated tube is provided with a thickened end by subjecting the tube to an upsetting action in such a way that the thickening starts at a distance from the free end of the heated part and increases gradually from this point towards the free end of the heated part.

  • Patent number: 4131407
Abstract: A device for manufacturing a plastic tube having a thickened socket end and being provided with an inner circular groove. The device includes a socket forming mandril having a core member associated with it. The mandril is provided with a groove-forming member. A hollow die is also provided which has a portion adapted to fittingly cooperate with the outer side of the mandril. A hollow mould lies in an adjoining relationship with the hollow die and is disposed in front of the core member. The hollow mould has an inner diameter which is greater than the outer diameter of the mandril.

  • Patent number: 4131541
Abstract: A method for removing small quantities of coagulable substances from potato waste fruit water by means of a heating treatment, in such a way that, prior to heating, the fruit waste is subjected to an ultrafiltration at a pressure comprised between 5 and 10 Atm. until the protein concentration has increased to a value of at least 6%.

  • Patent number: 4088307
Abstract: An extruder for synthetic material is disclosed which includes an extruder housing provided with at least two worm conveyer shafts, each having one or more helices thereon. An inlet opening is provided in the housing at the extruder input for introducing the synthetic material and a degassing outlet is provided in the housing downstream of the inlet. Intermediately of the material inlet and degassing outlet, distributing members are arranged on the worm shaft peripheries, the distributing members comprising intermeshing tooth-shaped heightened parts of generally hemispherical configuration.
