  • Publication number: 20240112394
Abstract: A text-to-image prompt is processed using a text-to-image machine learning model to obtain a non-immersive (e.g., rectilinear image). The non-immersive image may be enhanced by a superresolution machine learning model and processed with a monoscopic depth estimation model to obtain a depthmap. The non-immersive image and the depthmap may be converted to an immersive projection (e.g., F-theta) and corresponding depth map. The immersive projection may be out-painted. The immersive projection may be used to generate video with simulated camera movement, output on a VR headset, and/or processed to remove a background layer and displayed on an AR headset, or on an holographic glasses-free three-dimensional display.

  • Patent number: 10107506
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed which may include (1) providing a preselected and/or non-uniform airflow distribution output from a heat exchanger, (2) selectively directing air through a relatively lower resistance flowpath to manage an airflow characteristic and/or distribution downstream of the heat exchanger, (3) providing an HVAC system comprising a heat exchanger comprising a fin arrangement configured to cause relatively more air to contact a selected component that lies either upstream or downstream relative to the heat exchanger, and (4) receiving a relatively uniform airflow into a heat exchanger and outputting an airflow comprising a localized increased airflow rate. A heat exchanger comprising differentiated resistance flowpaths may selectively affect a direction and/or localized flow rate or distribution of an airflow exiting the heat exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20180106500
Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system may include a heat exchanger comprising at least one heat exchanger tube. The heat exchanger tube may include multiple passes: a first pass, a second pass having an elliptical portion with ribs disposed in the elliptical portion, a third pass having an elliptical portion with ribs disposed in the elliptical portion, and a fourth pass having an elliptical portion with ribs disposed in the elliptical portion. The first pass and the second pass may be connected in fluid communication by a first bend, the second pass and the third pass may be connected in fluid communication by a second bend, and the third pass and the fourth pass may be connected in fluid communication by a third bend. The heat exchanger tube may be configured to promote heat transfer while also controlling a pressure drop across the heat exchanger tube.

Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system may include a heat exchanger comprising at least one heat exchanger tube. The heat exchanger tube may include multiple passes: a first pass, a second pass having an elliptical portion with dimples disposed in the elliptical portion, and a third pass having an elliptical portion with dimples disposed in the elliptical portion. The first pass and the second pass may be connected in fluid communication by a first bend, and the second pass and the third pass may be connected in fluid communication by a second bend. The heat exchanger tube may be configured to promote heat transfer while also controlling a pressure drop across the heat exchanger tube.

  • Publication number: 20170199934
Abstract: Summaries of audio or audio-video events are created from audio or audio-video recordings based on the needs of a particular user. The summarized events may have shorter timespans than the actual timespans of audio or audio-video recordings. Audio or audio-video recordings may be provided by one or more recording devices or sensors to a network, such as a cloud. A summarizer is provided in the network, and may include an audio marker, an audio enhancer, and an audio compiler. The audio marker tags segments of an audio or audio-video stream using one or more audio detectors based on user preferences. The audio enhancer may enhance the quality of tagged audio segments by enhancing desired sound features and suppressing undesired sound features. The audio compiler compiles the tagged audio segments based on event scores and generates audio or audio-video summaries for the user.

  • Publication number: 20140014291
Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system has a motor configured to selectively provide an airflow, an airflow control algorithm configured receive an input and to provide a desired control value associated with a desired actual operation value of the motor, wherein the desired actual operation value is provided as a function of the input, and a control translator configured to receive the desired control value and to provide a correlated control value to the motor, wherein the correlated control value is associated with causing the motor to operate at the desired control value.

  • Publication number: 20080105252
Abstract: An outdoor firepit comprises a vessel adapted to contain a combustible material. A plurality of conduits are within the vessel and are positioned to be in thermal communication with the combustible material. An air source forces air through the plurality of conduits and into an area surrounding the firepit. An apparatus for heating an outdoor area comprises a vessel adapted to contain a combustible material having an inner bowl and an outer bowl and a space therebetween. A plurality of conduits are within the vessel adjacent the inner bowl and are positioned to be in thermal communication with the combustible material. An air source forces air through the plurality of conduits and into the outdoor area surrounding the vessel.

  • Patent number: 7281469
Abstract: A cooking support frame comprises a wire rack assembly fabricated from wire subassemblies having slots, crimps, and bends configured for supporting food items such as poultry legs and wings, pork ribs, corn, vegetables, bread, and the like above a conventional cooking surface. An open base supports a pair of opposed uprights having handles formed therein. The uprights support a hanger assembly formed with slots and crimps for holding poultry wings and legs in a generally vertical position. The hanger assembly can comprise an arrangement of removable skewers. The hanger assembly also defines a basket for supporting larger cuts of meat, vegetables, bread, and the like. The open base can be formed with an integral rib rack for supporting pork ribs in a generally vertical position. The cooking support frame is configured for nesting of a plurality of support frames together for shipping, handling, and displaying.
