  • Patent number: 11843700
Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission between a contactless card, a client device, and one or more servers are provided. The contactless card may include one or more processors and memory, which may include one or more applets. The client device may include one or more processors and memory. The client device may be in data communication with the contactless card. One or more servers may be in data communication with the client device. A first set of information may be transmitted from the contactless card to the client device. The first set of information may include one or more links to activate the contactless card via a designated email program. • Publication number: 20230394462
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for secure generation of one-time passcodes using a contactless card. In one example, an operating system (OS) of a device may receive a uniform resource locator (URL) and a cryptogram from a contactless card. The OS may launch an application associated with the URL. The application may transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The application may receive a decryption result from the authentication server indicating the authentication server decrypted the cryptogram. Based on the decryption result, the application may request an OTP. The processor may receive an OTP from an OTP generator. The application may receive an input value and compare the input value to a copy of the OTP. The application may determine that the comparison results in a match, and display, based on the determination that the comparison results in the match, one or more attributes of the account.

  • Publication number: 20230376936
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for configuring applications on a device using a contactless card. An application executing on a device may receive a cryptogram from a contactless card associated with an account. The application may transmit the cryptogram to a server. The application may receive, based on the cryptogram, configuration information for a plurality of applications associated with the account. The application may modify a respective configuration of each application on the device based on the configuration information.

  • Publication number: 20230351366
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to autofilling card data from a contactless card to a form of a computing device. An application may determine that a payment field of a form has received focus. The application may then receive encrypted data from a communications interface of a contactless card associated with an account. The application may then receive, from a server, verification of the encrypted data. The application may then receive, from the server, an encrypted account number associated with the account, and decrypt the encrypted account number to yield the account number. An autofill service of an operating system (OS) executing on the processor circuit, may then autofill the account number to the payment field of the form.

  • Publication number: 20230325810
Abstract: A software development kit (SDK) in an application may receive a selection of a uniform resource locator (URL) in a form for a transaction. The SDK may present an SDK interface overlaid on the application. The SDK may receive selection of an interface element in the SDK interface. The SDK may present, in the SDK interface, orientation instructions. The SDK may receive payment information and a cryptogram from the contactless card and transmit the cryptogram to a server. The SDK may receive a result specifying the server decrypted the cryptogram and present a permissions element. The SDK may fill the payment information in one or more fields of the form and receive input specifying to process the transaction using the payment information. The application may transmit the payment information to a server associated with the merchant to process the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20230274257
Abstract: Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A communications interface may receive an indication that a server preauthorized a transaction. The communications interface may receive, from a point of sale device, an indication to pay for the transaction. The contactless card may determine, based on rules stored in the memory, that the location of the mobile device is within one or more locations the contactless card is permitted for use. The contactless card may generate transaction data comprising: indications of an account number and an expiration date of the contactless card, and the indication of the preauthorization. The contactless card may transmit the transaction data to the POS device as payment for the transaction. The server may authorize payment for the transaction using at least a portion of the transaction data based at least in part on identifying the indication of the preauthorization in the transaction data.
