    Abstract: Concepts and schemes pertaining to location of interleaver with low-density parity-check (LDPC) code are described. A processor of an apparatus encodes data to provide a stream of encoded data. The processor also rate matches the encoded data to provide a rate-matched stream of encoded data. The processor further interleaving the rate-matched stream of encoded data. In rate matching the encoded data, the processor buffers the stream of encoded data in a circular buffer, with the circular buffer functioning as a rate matching block that rate matches the stream of encoded data. In interleaving the rate-matched stream of encoded data, the processor performs bit-level interleaving on the rate-matched stream of encoded data to provide a stream of interleaved data.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a pellicle includes forming a first dielectric layer over a back surface of a substrate. After forming the first dielectric layer, and in some embodiments, a graphene layer is formed over a front surface of the substrate. In some examples, after forming the graphene layer, the first dielectric layer is patterned to form an opening in the first dielectric layer that exposes a portion of the back surface of the substrate. Thereafter, while using the patterned first dielectric layer as a mask, an etching process may be performed to the back surface of the substrate to form a pellicle having a pellicle membrane that includes the graphene layer.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating a fin structure with tensile stress includes providing a structure divided into an N-type transistor region and a P-type transistor region. Next, two first trenches and two second trenches are formed in the substrate. The first trenches define a fin structure. The second trenches segment the first trenches and the fin. Later, a flowable chemical vapor deposition is performed to form a silicon oxide layer filling the first trenches and the second trenches. Then, a patterned mask is formed only within the N-type transistor region. The patterned mask only covers the silicon oxide layer in the second trenches. Subsequently, part of the silicon oxide layer is removed to make the exposed silicon oxide layer lower than the top surface of the fin structure by taking the patterned mask as a mask. Finally, the patterned mask is removed.

An example method comprises: measuring a stator current of the doubly fed induction machine, measuring a rotor current of the doubly fed induction machine, calculating a total magnetic flux density in an airgap of the doubly fed induction machine, calculating a tangential force density, calculating an electromagnetic torque, repeating the calculation of the electromagnetic torque over one electrical cycle to estimate a torque pulsation, determining a new rotor current that substantially eliminates the torque pulsation by referencing a set of optimal rotor currents in a look-up table, and changing the rotor current in response to the determination.
