    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for synchronous independent channel access in a wireless network. The synchronous independent channel access can be performed by a wireless station having multiple transceivers for simultaneous communication over multiple wireless bands. A wireless station can connect wirelessly to a wireless access point to access a first primary wireless band during a transmission opportunity, and can use early access on a second primary wireless band without receiving a transmission opportunity. The transmission and reception of data frames over the different primary channels are synchronized to prevent or mitigate inter-channel interference. According to some embodiments, the channels are synchronized using back-off procedures and/or padding to align the ending time of transmitted and received data frames, for example.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention substantially mitigate or prevent in-device and inter-device interference (e.g., AACI) by grouping wireless stations associated with an AP according to their estimated physical proximity with each other. The transmissions to/from STAs within a group can be coordinated so that a wireless transmission does not interfere with the wireless reception of another STA within the same group. In this way, desense is avoided and the wireless reception can be performed efficiently.

    Abstract: A multi-link device (MLD) monitors each of first and second links in a multi-link operation in wireless communications, with the first link being a primary link and the second link being a secondary link. The MLD obtains a transmission opportunity (TXOP) on one of the first link and the second link as a result of performing a contention-based channel access on the first link and the second link. The MLD checks channel status of the other of the first link and the second link. The MLD then transmits one or more frames on the first link but not on the second link, on the second link but not on the first link, or on both the first link and the second link synchronously, responsive to the channel status of the other link given the TXOP being obtained on the one of the first link and the second link.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for enabling data transmission using HARQ in IEEE 802.11 systems are described. A method is disclosed, performed by a transmitting device, comprising computing a plurality of redundancy frames based on a plurality of data frames, transmitting the plurality of data frames to a receiving device, and transmitting a set of the plurality of redundancy frames to the receiving device determined by the transmitting device in response to receiving acknowledgement. One embodiment includes a method determining failed data frames of the plurality of data frames, requesting a set of the plurality of redundancy frames, and recovering the failed data frame using a decoder employing hard decision inputs. Other embodiments include an apparatus in a receiver device implementing the method of decoding the failed data frames using a decoder employing soft decision inputs.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for accessing multiple wireless links simultaneously during a transmission opportunity granted to a wireless STA to increase throughput of the wireless network while advantageously preventing or mitigating the IDC interference caused by simultaneous transmission and reception of data over multiple wireless bands. According to some embodiments, a wireless STA can be prevented from accessing a wireless medium to transmit data to a peer wireless STA when the peer wireless STA is already transmitting data, or may be transmitting data, or is scheduled to transmit data in the immediate future. According to some embodiments, access to a wireless medium for performing a multi-link operation can be prevented responsive to IDC interference.

    Abstract: A multi-processor system comprises a clock generator, a clock controller, a main processor, a plurality of co-processors and an interrupt control interface. Because the main processor and the co-processors need not work together to deliver the processing result, the multi-processor system may be designed that each processor in the multi-processor system is independently switched to operate at lower clock or power down completely according to the feedback of the hardware performance detection for each processor when the whole system is in active usage. This means on-demand power saving for the multi-processor system, so as to save power greatly.
