    Abstract: A method and a system for regulating power in a portable audio/video playback device enabling the portable audio/video playback device to completely play an audio/video multimedia file or data without sufficient power or external power. A processing unit is employed for detecting a remaining power of the portable audio/video playback device and for computing an average power consumption rate and a remaining playback time of the audio/video multimedia file or data to thereby appropriately reduce an output level of the video or audio output signals. Accordingly, power consumption of the portable audio/video playback device is minimized so that a complete playback of the audio/video multimedia file or data can be performed by the portable audio/video playback device before the power is exhausted.

The anode plate includes a anode substrate. The cathode plate is stacked with the anode plate and includes an isolation mesh with a plurality of apertures and a cathode mesh with a plurality of through holes. The through holes are corresponding to the apertures. The panel is sealed with t he anode substrate to form a vacuum cavity to enclose the anode unit and the cathode plate. Electron beams generated by the cathode plate bombard the anode plate to illuminate. The illumination will exit from one side of the panel through passage defined by the aperture and the through, besides exit from one side of the anode substrate. Therefore, the field emission type planar lamp has two-side illumination.

Since the decoding direction is identical to the output direction of a printer, only a desired column of blocks of the decompressed image is temporarily stored for output and accordingly required memory size is relatively reduce.

The driver unit controls the cathode unit through the gate conductive layer to generate electron beam for etching. The accuracy of etching process can be improved and the cathode unit has the advantage of replacement possibility.
