    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for adjusting an audible area of an avatar's voice is provided. The present invention may include receiving, at a microphone, a source audio; creating a received audio; calculating, by a generative model, a voice propagation distance of a user based on the source audio, the received audio, and a templated text sentence describing a category of a mixed reality environment experienced by the user; drawing a virtual circle within the mixed reality environment centered on a user avatar representing the user and with a radius equal to the voice propagation distance; and transmitting the source audio to one or more participants within the mixed-reality environment represented by one or more participant avatars located within the virtual circle.

    Abstract: An automatic transfer switch is provided. A transfer module is arranged between two power switches and disposed on a displacement mechanism which is in linear motion. The transfer module is provided with a seat in which two corresponding levers are mounted and electrically connected with a controller. The two levers are locked or released under control of the controller. Thereby the power switch is pulled or pushed selectively by the levers being locked or released. In combination with the controller used for setting a time delay during transfer between power sources, the power switch can be turned on/off or switched at the time required.

    Abstract: An ESD protection circuit is coupled to a first pad and includes an ESD detection circuit, a P-type transistor, an N-type transistor, and a discharge circuit. The ESD detection circuit determines whether an ESD event occurs on the first pad to generate a detection signal at a first node. The P-type transistor comprises a source coupled to the first pad, a drain coupled to a second node, and a gate coupled to the first node. The N-type transistor comprises a drain coupled to the second node, a source coupled to a ground, and a gate coupled to a second pad. The discharge circuit is coupled between the first pad and the ground and controlled by a driving signal at the second node. When the ESD protection circuit is in an operation mode, the first pad receives a first voltage, and a second pad receives a second voltage.

    Abstract: An electrical appliance status analysis device and method are provided. Based on the correlation between appliance status sequence data and electricity meter sequence data, appliances are categorized into high-correlation appliances and low-correlation appliances. For high-correlation appliances, training is conducted using the first-type model directly based on the appliance status sequence data and electricity meter sequence data. For low-correlation appliances, features are extracted to produce appliance status feature data and electricity meter feature data, which are then combined with user information feature data to train a second-type model. This method remains applicable at low sampling frequencies. Even when the data sampling rate is below 1 Hz, the resulting appliance status analysis models provide accurate analysis results, addressing the limitations of NILM technology in analyzing data with low sampling frequency.

    Abstract: A point cloud encoding method, decoding method, encoding device, and decoding device are disclosed. The point cloud encoding method includes calculating a distance from a first point to a parent point of the first point as a first distance; determining a point in un-encoded points closest to the first point as a second point, and calculating residual values on N coordinate components from the second point to the first point; encoding absolute values of the residual values on the N coordinate components from the second point to the first point; encoding signs of the residual values of the second point based on the residual values of the second point and the first distance. The present disclosure utilizes the geometry position relationship between points in a point cloud to encode the absolute values of residual values and the feasible signs of residual values, thereby improving the encoding efficiency of residual values.

    Abstract: A device is provided to excite and locate methylene blue two-photon fluorescence (MB-2 PF) signals under skin surface. The device comprises a laser source, a nonlinear optical microscope unit, a beam-splitter unit, an optical-signal capturing and observing unit, and an image processing unit. Second harmonic generation (SHG) signals and the MB-2 PF signals are combined and observed simultaneously to form images of nerve fiber structures at different depths under the surface of human skin. The MB-2 PF signals directly observe the nerve fiber structure under the skin surface. The SHG signals reflects the signals of collagen fibers in dermal layer of the skin. The junction between the dermal layer and the epidermal layer are located to divide the dermis and epidermis layers for determining whether the nerve fiber structure passes through the epidermis and dermis layers. Thus, the density of intraepidermal nerve fiber is calculated in a non-invasive way.
