  • Patent number: 5651913
Abstract: A form assembly includes a pair of rows of clasp members mounted respectively on back sides of two form members thereof in alignment with each other. Each clasp member includes a horizontal section extending rearward from each form member, a vertical section projecting downward from a distal end of the horizontal section, and a hook section projecting forward from the vertical section for defining a hook groove. Each pair of aligned clasp members is provided with a T-shaped latch member which has two arm portions to engage the aligned clasp members, and a handle portion extending from and intermediately of the arm portions. Each arm portion has a polygonal cross-section, a first side, and a second side opposing the first side. The second side of each arm portion is insertable into and is pivotable within the hook groove when each arm portion is pressed against the horizontal section to engage frictionally the vertical section, thereby placing tightly each arm portion in the clasp member.

  • Patent number: 5634302
Abstract: A positioning device for positioning a frame between two parallel form panels of a wall form assembly when pouring concrete includes a positioning plate and two seal strips. The positioning plate is adapted to be fastened to one of the panels and has a planar positioning surface which abuts against the frame and which is adapted to be perpendicular to the panel. The seal strips are adapted to be located on two sides of the frame between the panels such that each of the strips is positioned between the frame and one of the panels. A liquid-tight seal is established between the frame and the panels. Assembly of the frame and the seal strips defines between the panels a concrete pouring space and a non-pouring space which are located on two sides of the assembly. The positioning plate is located in the non-pouring space, and the frame is positioned between the positioning plate and the concrete pouring space.

  • Patent number: 5609454
Abstract: A driving assembly for driving opposed first and second driven members includes an elongated rod and a stop unit. The elongated rod extends through a through-hole of the second driven member. The elongated rod has an enlarged threaded first portion which is adapted to extend threadably through a screw hole of the first driven member and which is sized to prevent extension of the first portion through the through-hole of the second driven member, and a second portion which is adapted to extend out of the through-hole of the second driven member. The first and second portions of the elongated rod extend from two sides of the second driven member. The stop unit is connected to the second portion of the elongated rod so as to prevent axial movement of the elongated rod toward the first driven member.

  • Patent number: 5552103
Abstract: A form set-up and a method for stripping upright form panels of the form set-up from a concrete unit. The form set-up defines a pouring space into which concrete is poured and cast so as to form a concrete unit. The form set-up includes at least two form panels. Each of the form panels has a contact surface in contact with a vertical surface of the concrete unit, a mounting surface opposed to the contact surface, and a reinforcing beam member secured to the mounting surface. The reinforcing beam members of the two form panels are aligned with each other. An interconnecting member is interposed removably between the two form panels and has a contact surface which is flush with the contact surfaces of the two form panels and which is in contact with the vertical surface of the concrete unit.

  • Patent number: 5544852
Abstract: A modular form assembly for a concrete structure includes vertical channel pieces coupled detachably side by side to one another, and horizontal reinforcement units interconnected detachably. Each channel piece includes two opposing vertical walls, and an intermediate vertical wall interconnecting the vertical walls and serving as a form wall. Each vertical wall is attached detachably to the adjacent vertical wall to arrange the form walls in a common vertical plane. The reinforcement units are attached detachably to the vertical walls opposite to the form walls so as to keep the form walls in the common vertical plane. Each reinforcement unit includes a horizontal plate, first flanges extending vertically from two opposing sides of the horizontal plate, and second flanges extending vertically from two other opposing sides of the horizontal plate. Each second flange abuts against and is connected detachably to the adjacent second flange.

  • Patent number: 5490367
Abstract: An apparatus is used to support and move vertically an erected form assembly during the construction of a building with a plurality of stories. The stories include a lower story and an upper story. Each of the lower and upper stories is formed previously with a concrete wall structure that has surrounding walls formed integrally with reinforced horizontal beams which confine an interior space. The apparatus includes a form support body that can extend across the interior space of the upper story and that has a top side on which the erected form assembly can rest. A plurality of legs extend downwardly from the form support body. Each leg has a lower portion associated with a clamping unit in order to fix releasably the leg to one of the reinforced horizontal beams of the lower story. A horizontal support bar is located below and is spaced from the form support body.

  • Patent number: 5365204
Abstract: A variable frequency digital ring oscillator which can be formed in a small area for use in testing of chips employs a ring oscillator formed of CMOS inverters, transmission gates and capacitors and CMOS logic as a voltage controlled ring oscillator. A wide range of frequency of oscillation is achieved with small number of components. The ring oscillator circuit's oscillator frequency is controlled only by DC voltages, such as may be provided by (but not limited to) a manufacturing chip tester. The output signal of the oscillator swings between Vdd and Vss and does not need additional level translation circuits to drive CMOS logic. The ring oscillator can be composed of an odd number of CMOS inverters connected in cascade to form a loop. We provide a CMOS transmission gate with PMOS and NMOS transistor device inserted between each adjacent inverter and a MOS capacitor connected between the output of each transmission gate and the Vss supply of the ring oscillator circuit (conventionally ground).

  • Patent number: 5338963
Abstract: Soft error immunity of a storage cell is greatly increased by division of a storage node into at least two portions and location of those portions on opposite sides of an isolation structure, such as a well of a conductivity type opposite to that of the substrate in which transistors of the memory cell may also be formed. The isolation structure thus limits collection of charge to only one of the portions of the storage node and reduces charge collection efficiency to a level where a critical amount of charge cannot be collected in all but a statistically negligible number of cases when such charge is engendered by impingement by ionizing radiation, such as energetic alpha particles. The layout of the memory cell having this feature also advantageously provides a simplified topology for the formation of additional ports comprising word line access transistors and bit lines.

  • Patent number: 4719629
Abstract: An error correcting logic circuit for masking faults on dual redundant interconnections. Both interconnections are inmput to a NAND or AND circuit which includes pull-up resistors to a high potential. The outputs of all the NAND circuits are connected to dual redundant logic circuits, each of which has an emitter-follower output with a load resistor to ground. The outputs of the redundant logic circuits provide the redundant interconnections to other similar error correcting logic circuits.

  • Patent number: 4652898
Abstract: A semiconductor memory produced in a unipolar technology includes a cell which has a diffusion storage capacitor with one overlying terminal being merged with a bit/sense line, the other capacitor terminal is a diffused region and is coupled through a word transfer device to a word line injector charge source held at a fixed voltage. To provide an organized array of these cells, each bit line cell includes a shared word line charge source held at a fixed voltage and formed at the surface of a semiconductor substrate. A diffusion storage capacitor also is formed at the surface of the semiconductor and spaced apart from the shared charge source. Information is written into each bit line capacitor by applying a voltage of either of two different magnitudes, representing 1 and 0 bits of information, to the respective bit line while a word selection pulse produces an inversion layer at the surface of the substrate between each bit line capacitor and its shared word line fixed voltage charge source.
