  • Patent number: 9736960
Abstract: A framework for an electronic or network cabinet, having a first profile frame and a second profile frame, as well as four depth struts. Each depth strut is directly or indirectly connected at corresponding points to the vertical profile frames. Furthermore, the depth struts are dimensioned so that they can absorb and compensate tilting forces of the vertical profile frames.

  • Publication number: 20120090869
Abstract: In order to create a cabinet with a particularly simple earthquake construction, in which the necessary earthquake resistance and a static carrying load or respectively load capacity of up to 800 kg are guaranteed, cost-effectively producible stiffening panels are arranged and connected to form a body. The earthquake construction consists of a front and rear stiffening panel which are formed respectively as a frame and releasably connected to a bottom fixing angular element. Side stiffening elements are arranged between the front and rear stiffening panel which can be formed as one-part or multi-part, closed or interrupted panels.

  • Publication number: 20070175836
Abstract: The invention relates to a rack or frame structure for electronic cabinets, specifically for network cabinets and cabinet rows with high cabling densities. To ensure in the case of high stability unhindered access to a reception area and cable routing in each direction, two vertical members and four depth members are so connected that a right and left-hand double-T frame is formed. The vertical members are in particular positioned as central members. The preferably releasable connection of the right and left-hand double-T frame takes place with the aid of a lower and upper transverse member in the vicinity of the vertical members, accompanied by the formation of a front and a rear frame recess.

  • Patent number: 6712434
Abstract: In a cabinet, particularly an equipment cabinet for electrical and electronic components and equipment having a particularly simple construction and ensuring an optimum accessibility to the installation area as well as a high security against unauthorized opening, not only the front door and a rear wall, but also the side walls are provided with hinges and can be articulated, as desired, either on the right or left. The hinge system has upper and lower hinge pins and two hinge pin receptacles in each corner connector of a frame. The two hinge pin receptacles are in each case formed in a shoulder of the corner connector.

  • Patent number: 6403878
Abstract: A particularly advantageous EMC shielding of a housing with side parts, transverse sections, a cover plate and a base plate is obtained by labyrinth-like areas of the side parts and lateral marginal legs of the cover plate as well as by a cover plate and/or a base plate including a double-walled edge area with a marginal leg, which engages in a groove of the transverse section.

  • Patent number: 5969942
Abstract: A device for ventilating electronic and electrical equipment, subassemblies and components, which are placed in casings, cabinets and subassembly carriers. The device is particularly suitable for slide-in fan modules, which are equipped with axial flow fans and positioned at a relatively small distance from a reception space for the electrical and electronic equipment, etc. to be ventilated. Between the objects to be cooled and the fan unit is provided an air distribution plate, which has punched out air passage openings. In order to achieve a diffuser action and partial direction change of an air volume flow, air deflecting surfaces with a predeterminable inclination and in clearly defined areas are formed by a punching and bending process.

  • Patent number: 5879167
Abstract: A contact element is used for anticipatory earthing of a plug-in module during insertion in guides of a casing or a modular chassis up to plugging in. In order to ensure a reliable and effective protective earthing and a very early conducting away of electrostatic charges during the plugging-in process, a contact element is provided with a clamping area and a holding area. The clamping area is constructed for contact engagement on a circuit board and the holding area is constructed for retaining the contact element on a cross extrusion of the casing or the modular chassis.
