  • Patent number: 6540260
Abstract: A photograph album system (10) has a spine (14) with an internal lateral groove (30) at one end and a removable retainer (42) having a plurality of internal retaining fingers (44) within the groove. A plurality of pages (52) are defined by a plurality of signatures (54). Each signature is defined by a plurality of page sets (56). Each page set consists of an interior support sheet (58) with a central fold (60) and a pair of exterior cover sheets (64). The exterior cover sheets are folded around an individual outer edge of an interior support sheet with each having a central fold defining an outer bend (66). The exterior cover sheets are adhered to the interior support sheet so that two pages are formed with separate pockets (72) on each side of each page. Posts (36) couple the pages to the spine.

  • Patent number: 6511245
Abstract: A photograph album page and system is adapted to be coupled with similar pages for displaying a plurality of photographs of a wide variety of sizes in a convenient manner. A rectangular backing sheet has an upper and a lower edge and also an interior edge and an exterior edge with an upper and a lower surface. A plurality of primary holes are formed through the sheet thus forming photograph receiving areas. A rectangular transparent bag is formed of an upper layer overlying the upper surface of the sheet and a lower layer overlying the lower surface of the sheet with closed upper, lower, and exterior edges and an open interior edge for receiving the sheet and for the passage of photographs. Heat sealed couplings are provided between the bag and the primary holes.

  • Patent number: 6142696
Abstract: A book 90 with a spine 92. The spine has a pair of facing long walls 94, 96 including a front wall 94 and a rear wall 96, each with a top 98 and a bottom 100, in essentially parallel relationship. The spine also has a pair of facing short walls 102, 104 a top wall 102 and a bottom wall 104, in parallel relationship and at essentially right angles with respect to the front wall and rear wall. The top wall is located between the top of the front wall and the top of the rear wall. The bottom wall is located between the bottom of the front wall and the bottom of the rear wall. The long walls and short walls are in a generally rectilinear configuration with an open face 106 from which pages may extend and an opposed closed face 108 opposite from the open face. At least one elongated retainer 114 essentially spans the space between one pair of parallel walls and is adapted to receive and retain pages 124. The retainer has opposed ends 116, 118 with at least one end 116 coupled with respect to an associated wall.

  • Patent number: 6135663
Abstract: A photograph album page includes a rectangular backing sheet having an upper edge and a parallel lower edge and having an interior edge and a parallel exterior edge and an exterior region between the vertical centerline and the exterior edge and an interior region between the vertical centerline and the interior edge. A plurality of small holes are formed through the exterior region including a lower line between the horizontal centerline and the lower edge and an upper line between the horizontal centerline and the upper edge. An additional plurality of small holes are formed through the interior region and include an inner line of holes closely spaced from the interior edge and an outer line distantly spaced from the interior edge. A rectangular transparent large bag is formed with an exterior edge adjacent to the exterior edge of the sheet and an unsealed open edge in proximity to the vertical centerline.

  • Patent number: 6109657
Abstract: A system for the packaging of a photo album of the type having a spine with an exterior closed edge and an interior open edge and with elements for holding pages includes a plurality of pages. The pages have interior edges adapted to be coupled with respect to the spine and parallel free exterior edges as well as free upper and lower edges parallel with respect to each other. Front and rear covers each have an interior edge coupled with respect to the spine and a parallel exterior edge as well as free upper and lower edges parallel with respect to each other and encompassing the pages. A generally rigid packaging support has a central component in a generally rectilinear configuration positioned between the exterior edges of the covers in proximity to the exterior edges of the pages. A spacer has a first vertical edge formed integrally with the central component of the support and a free second vertical edge.
