  • Patent number: 11972015
Abstract: Removal of PII is provided. Sensor data is captured using sensors of a vehicle. Object detection is performed on the sensor data to create a sematic labeling of objects in the sensor data. A model is utilized to classify regions of the sensor data with a public or private labeling according to the sematic labeling and a PII filter corresponding to a jurisdiction of a current location of the vehicle. The sensor data is utilized in accordance with the public or private labeling.

  • Publication number: 20240126501
Abstract: Mitigating latency in guiding a user, during an interaction between the user and a computing system, in selecting a subset of item(s), from a superset of candidate items, and causing performance of further action(s) based on the selected subset of item(s). In guiding a user in selecting the subset of items, various implementations enable the user to provide only spoken input(s) in selecting the subset of item(s), and provide visual output(s) that are responsive to the spoken input(s) and that guide the user in selecting the item(s). In some of those various implementations, there is not any (or there is only de minimis) audible spoken synthesized spoken output rendered by the computing system in guiding the user in selecting the subset of item(s).

  • Patent number: 8601820
Abstract: A late lean injection sleeve assembly allows the injection of fuel at the aft end of a gas turbine liner, before the transition piece, into the combustion gases downstream of a turbine combustor's fuel nozzles. The late lean injection enables fuel injection downstream of the fuel nozzles to create a secondary/tertiary (with quaternary injection upstream of the fuel nozzles) combustion zone while reducing/eliminating the risk of fuel leaking into the combustor discharge case. The fuel is delivered by the flow sleeve into one or more nozzles that mix the fuel with CDC air before injecting it into the combustor's liner.

  • Publication number: 20120280460
Abstract: A side seal assembly is provided for sealing gaps between adjacent transition ducts in a gas turbine combustor arrangement. The side seal assembly includes a first elongated plate mounting an outer seal and a first fastening element at one end thereof; a second elongated plate mounting a second fastening element at one end thereof and an inner seal at an opposite end thereof. The first and second elongated plates are adapted to be joined in back-to-back relationship by means of the first and second fastening elements, such that in use, the outer and inner seals extend substantially parallel to, but offset from, the first and second elongated plates. The first elongated plate and the inner and outer seals substantially cover three radial gaps between the adjacent transition ducts.

  • Publication number: 20110178929
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed. The method includes receiving, at a server computer, a transaction clearing request for a transaction, and then determining, using the server computer, if the transaction satisfies a stored blocking parameter. The method further includes allowing, using the server computer, the transaction clearing request if the transaction does not satisfy the stored blocking parameter, and denying, using the server computer, the transaction clearing request if the transaction satisfies the stored blocking parameter. In B2B transactions, clearing requests that are less than (or slightly above) a previously contracted amount can be denied because they are less than what the buyer expected.

  • Patent number: 7926283
Abstract: Cooling is provided for a gas turbine combustion system that includes a first member, such as a liner, having exterior and interior surfaces that define a wall therebetween and a central area. A second member, such as a cap, is located adjacent that interior surface. A source of cooling gas is in fluid communication with the exterior surface of the first member. An open space, in which is located a hula seal, is located between the interior surface of the first member and the second member. At least one opening in the wall of the first member provides a passageway for the cooling gas from the exterior surface of the first member to the open space. The passageway has a directional axis along which the cooling gas flows and is discharged into the open space. The directional axis is substantially oriented in a direction other than a direction towards the central area of the first member.

  • Publication number: 20080245337
Abstract: A system for dampening combustor dynamics within a turbomachine. The system may include at least one resonator installed adjacent a head-end region of a combustion can. The at least one resonator may include a first side having a plurality of holes forming a cold side hole pattern; a second side having a plurality of holes forming a hot side hole pattern; and a cavity substantially defined by the first side and the hot side. The cold side hole pattern may be oriented such that each of the plurality of holes in the cold side hole pattern allows for a jet of a cooling air to substantially impinge a second side facing surface; and wherein the hot side hole pattern is oriented such that each of the plurality of holes in the hot side hole pattern allows for a jet of a working fluid to substantially impinges a first side facing surface.

  • Patent number: 7178162
Abstract: Triggers for interactive television display are incorporated into a video stream in coordination with graphics associated with the triggers. Graphic sources such as channels (16,18) of a character generator (21) supply graphics associated with the triggers to graphic signal inputs (26,28) of a switch. When a channel supplies a graphic, a message denoting the associated trigger and associating the trigger with the channel is forwarded to a gateway computer (60). The gateway computer monitors connections between graphic signal inputs (26,28) and the video output (32) of the switch, and forwards triggers associated with a particular channel to an inserter (40) only if such channel is connected to output (32).
