    Abstract: A closure for containers of various sizes and configurations. The closure comprises of a cover member, a flange or similar structure for attaching the cover member to a container, and a slideway formed in the cover member with a slide disposed therewithin, slideable to cover and uncover a hole formed in the cover member in the slideway. The slide is mounted in the slideway such that it normally is firmly retained within the slideway. Detents may be formed in the side of the slideway with corresponding protrusions on the other member to temporarily position the slide in one of several locations long the slideway.

    Abstract: The bubble for a normally hanging bubble package is thermoformed with an integral base connected with the bottom of the bubble structure by a living hinge at which the base may be pivoted to engage the bottom of the bubble body structure and provide a support for the package in stand-up rather than hanging mode. Structure is provided for fastening the base to the bubble body; such structure may be a latching device comprising male and female elements formed integrally with the bubble at the bottom thereof and in the base, respectively, or may be separately applied adhesive or mechanical fastening devices. The bubble body and flange structure only are bonded to the supporting card leaving the base free to pivot at the hinge to engage the bubble body structure in optional stand-up mode of the package.

    Abstract: A display/storage package for flat articles such as computer software discs, and a file for one or more display/storage packages. The display/storage package includes a bottom portion, a top portion complementary to the bottom portion, which, when engaged to constitute a closed package, form an internal compartment. The top and bottom portions are provided with corner assistance to aid in opening the package when closed. A hinge connects the top and bottom portions along one edge thereof and includes a longitudinal channel forming a guideway for a strip bearing indicia identifying the contents of the package. The file comprises a housing and a liner for the housing, with the liner including at least one pair of opposed grooves shaped to guide and retain the display/storage package within the file.

    Abstract: A unitary container for playing or calling cards and the like. The container comprises a bottom part and a top part complementary to the bottom part, with the two parts, when engaged to constitute a closed container, forming an internal compartment. A flange extends about each of the top and bottom parts. These flanges are spaced apart by the sidewall which is a part of the bottom of the container. An exterior cap is provided for the top and bottom parts and secured to the flange thereabout. The top and bottom parts include respective first and second complementary closure elements which engage and lock when the container is closed.
