Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing material during a dental or endodontic procedure includes a housing having a motor with an output. A needle heating member including a chamber may receive a prefilled needle of dispensing material. A heater at least substantially surrounds the chamber for heating the material in the needle. A plunger is used to expel the material from the needle during activation of the motor. A reusable protective sheath is provided for disposition on the outside of the housing. A method of manufacturing a needle for use and dispensing a material during a dental or endodontic procedure includes drawing a blank of metal having a closed distal end, bending the blank at a desired angle, and removing a portion of the drawn metal from the distal end to open the distal end thereby forming the dispensing needle.

Abstract: The present invention is a oxygen generating device which comprises:
a container having a mouth and a neck surrounding the mouth; a tank which has an annual flange for establishing a gas tight seal between the tank and the neck;
a dome assembly which is engageable with the neck and extends upwardly to define a dome chamber above the neck; and
means for permitting oxygen generated in the tank to flow into the dome chamber by bubbling through a liquid contained in the dome base;
the dome base having an outlet connection through which oxygen can leave the chamber and where at least part of the dome is transparent so as to render the inside thereof visible from the outside of the dome.
Abstract: An improved multi-purposed cane including a handle and a stick attached to the root portion of the handle. The handle is integrally configured defining a receiving chamber extending horizontally and longitudinally. In the left half portion of the receiving chamber, an electrical components set is attached and retained thereof. The electrical components set includes a battery cell, a printed circuit board, a lamp, a push button switch, and a warning light disposed at the rear portion of the receiving chamber. The improved features is the bottom portion of the battery cell which is provided with a recess corresponding to the root portion of the handle. The root portion of the handle defines vertically an inner chamber having a clipping element thereof. The clipping element includes a biasing post, a compression spring and a cap button. The cap button is received in the recess and its top is projected into the receiving chamber.
Abstract: A multipurpose cane which includes a hollow handle, and a retractable walking-stick fixedly secured to the hollow handle fixe, wherein the hollow handle defines a storage chamber for keeping personal accessories, and holds a lamp and battery assembly controlled by a switch to produce light for illumination and/or warning.
Abstract: Compacted carbonaceous shapes are produced by mixing a particulate carbonaceous material with a binder, forming green shapes from the mixture, and heating the green shapes by induction heating or microwave heating or a combination thereof. The process is particularly adapted for making formcoke.
