  • Patent number: 11148784
Abstract: A propeller system including a propeller including a central attachment member and a plurality of blade apparatuses, each including a blade body attached to the central attachment member and a magnetic coupling member attached to a radially outward end of the blade body. The propeller system further comprises a propeller frame configured to at least partially circumscribe the magnetic coupling member of each blade apparatus and a plurality of electromagnets positioned on the propeller frame and operable to generate magnetic fields to suspend the magnetic coupling members, laterally translate the magnetic coupling members, rotate the magnetic coupling members along the radial axis of the propeller system, thereby rotating the blade bodies.

  • Patent number: 8260575
Abstract: A network operation center for a light management system having networked intelligent luminaire managers. A plurality of networked luminaire managers, each collocated with a respective luminaire, monitor the status of their respective luminaires. The luminaire managers include transmitters for transmitting status information about their respective luminaires and third-party devices to a network server. The luminaire managers communicate with each other, whereby they form a network.

A plurality of networked luminaire managers, each collocated with a respective luminaire, monitor the status of their respective luminaires. The luminaire managers include transmitters for transmitting status information about their respective luminaires and third-party devices to a network server. The network server forwards the received status information from the networked luminaire managers to a computer of an owner/operator of the plurality of luminaires and/or a third-party user. The luminaire managers communicate with each other, whereby they form a network.

  • Patent number: 7603184
Abstract: A light management system having networked intelligent luminaire managers. A plurality of networked luminaire managers, each collocated with a respective luminaire, monitor the status of their respective luminaires. The luminaire managers include transmitters for transmitting status information about their respective luminaires such as, for example, a lamp out condition upon occurrence of such a lamp out condition, to a network server. The network server forwards the received status information from the networked luminaire managers to a computer of an owner/operator of the plurality of luminaires. The luminaire managers communicate with each other, whereby they form a network.

  • Patent number: 7471123
Abstract: A baseband clock synthesizer having particular use in a BLUETOOTH piconet device, having the capability of generating either 12 MHz or 13 MHz clock signals generated from any reference clock signal, e.g., 12.00, 12.80, 13.00, 15.36, 16.80, 19.20, 19.44, 19.68, 19.80, and 26.00 MHz. A fractional-N frequency divider is implemented with a PLL including a variable divider allowing the use of virtually any reference frequency input to generate a locked 156 MHz clock signal used as a basis for a 12 MHz or 13 MHz baseband clock signal. A residue feedback sigma-delta modulator provides a varying integer sequence to an integer divider in a feedback path of the PLL, effectively allowing division by non-integer numbers in the PLL. Thus, the PLL can be referenced to virtually any reference clock and still provide a fixed output clock signal (e.g., 12 or 13 MHz).
