  • Patent number: 6583725
Abstract: A motion sensor having an outer tubular member closed at both ends thereof and an inner tubular member, concentrically disposed within the outer tubular member, forming therein an inner chamber and with the outer tubular member forming an outer chamber surrounding the inner chamber, the inner tubular member being provided with one or more apertures in walls thereof allowing fluid flow between the inner and outer chambers. A liquid at least partially fills the inner and outer chambers providing a liquid interface therein. Operatively connected to at least one of the tubular members are devices for determining the position of the liquid interface of the liquid.

  • Patent number: 4551824
Abstract: A telemetry system adapter for connecting a recording station to a telemetry system having a plurality of data acquisition array terminals serially connected together by cables. The adapter may be used to connect the recording station to any array terminal in the telemetry system. At the array terminal to which it is desired to connect the recording station, the cable is disconnected from the array terminal and connected to one connector of the adapter. Another connector of the adapter is connected to the array terminal, and a third connector of the adapter is connected to the recording station. The connectors on the adapter will fit only a respective one of the array terminal connectors, the cable connector or the recording station connector, and therefore cannot be attached incorrectly. The adapter may include an attenuator for balancing data levels and reducing cross-talk interference.

  • Patent number: 4545040
Abstract: A modular telemetry cable system having first and second array terminals spaced apart a distance of D. A cable extends between the terminals having X number of analog signal transmission means which is connected to 2X transducer sets for gathering 2X analog signals. The analog signals are processed and transmitted as digital signals over a digital transmission means connected between the terminals. At the location in the cable of the two interior transducer sets, the cable is penetrated to connect the interior transducer sets to the same analog transmission means. The portion of the same analog transmissions means between the two interior sets is disconnected from the two interior sets. At the penetrations in the cable of the two interior sets, the other analog transmission means are cut. One transducer set on opposite sides of the cuts in the other transmission means are connected to each of the other analog transmission means.

  • Patent number: 4180838
Abstract: A prerecorded magnetic tape format having program breakpoint alignment is used in the present invention to provide continuous long duration, highly non-repetitive, program selectable selections of music as for use in background music systems. Cueing means are provided at the end of each set of recorded musical selections of a multi-channel playback system. The cueing signal is used to trigger a programmable channel selection means for controlling which channel of the multi-channel system is selected for reproducing the next recorded musical selection. This program breakpoint switching process is repeated for any desired playing interval.
