  • Publication number: 20220294055
Abstract: A battery cabinet with a plurality of spaced apart shelves of equal width and depth. Each shelf supports a removable battery module. In turn, each module has a fixed adapter that holds batteries as a battery bank where the module and adapter occupy most of the space between shelves. Battery cells are vertically or horizontally aligned with terminals joined to comb-shaped straps with blades joined to battery terminals. The space between blades allows for thermal expansion without wear on terminals.

  • Publication number: 20090294498
Abstract: An aerodynamically shaped storage receptacle for vehicles comprises a six-panel receptacle body, an upper support system of three straps and a lower support system of two straps. At the ends of these straps are metal clamps to affix the receptacle onto a lift gate or trunk lid, such that the gate or lid can be opened with the receptacle attached. If needed inflatable plastic bags can fill out the receptacle which in an aerodynamic shape can achieve a substantial fuel saving for a respective vehicle, estimated at about 10%.
