  • Patent number: 6311739
Abstract: An electronically calibrated fuel dispenser includes a processor located on a processor board, a fuel pump, a pulser circuit and a memory located on a memory board. The processor board includes a calibration factor connector. The fuel pump is coupled to a fuel source and includes a fuel meter. The fuel pump provides fuel to a fuel recipient. The pulser circuit is coupled to the fuel meter. The pulser circuit provides an indication to the processor of the fuel delivered to the fuel recipient. The memory board includes a connector for coupling the memory board to the calibration factor connector of the processor board and thereby coupling the memory to the processor. The memory stores calibration factors independent of the processor board. The memory board further includes a calibration mode entry device, a blocking device and a sealing device. The blocking device prevents the calibration mode entry device from being actuated when the blocking device is in a blocking position.

  • Patent number: 6031343
Abstract: The lighting system of the present invention includes at least one light string having a plurality of independently controllable light modules, each emitting light in response to an activation signal uniquely associated with the light module. The lighting system preferably includes a controller coupled to the light strings for generating and transmitting activation signals to the light modules to independently control the lights of the light modules. Each of the light modules may include a multi-color lighting device for emitting light of different colors such that the controller may select colors of the light emitted from each one of the light modules.

  • Patent number: 5299135
Abstract: An interface unit for interfacing a peripheral bus of a computer system with a dispensing system for dispensing a material, such as gasoline, and which includes a plurality of dispensers for controlling the dispensing of the material. The interface unit includes a controller and a first communication link for providing bidirectional communication between the controller and the material dispensers. A second communication link is connected with an internal bus on the interface unit and the peripheral bus of the computer system to provide bidirectional communication between the controller and the computer system. The second communication link includes a window memory for storing code and a bus interface.
