Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to using vehicle telematics data to assess parameters associated with vehicle operation. In some instances, a driving assessment system may include a first computing device associated with a user in a vehicle and a second computing located remotely from the first computing device. The first computing device may collect, by way of one or more of an accelerometer and global positioning system (GPS), vehicle operational data and vehicle locational information associated with the vehicle and corresponding to a trip of the vehicle and may transmit such information to the second computing device. The second computing device may identify actionable and second order actionable trip data from the vehicle operational data and vehicle locational information and may calculate a behavior score for the trip.

Abstract: Various embodiments of making an investment casting mold are disclosed. The method includes coating a sacrificial pattern with a prime layer that includes a first refractory slurry and a first refractory stucco; at least partially hardening the prime layer; and coating the prime layer with an intermediate layer that includes a second refractory slurry and a second refractory stucco. The method further includes at least partially hardening the intermediate layer; coating the intermediate layer with a first backup layer that includes a first thixotropic agent, the first thixotropic agent including a first polymer emulsion; coating the first backup layer with a second backup layer that includes a second thixotropic agent, the second thixotropic agent including a second polymer emulsion; and at least partially hardening the first backup layer and the second backup layer.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a slurry composition for investment casting and a method of forming such composition are disclosed. The slurry composition can include a refractory material, a binder, a solvent, and a thixotropic agent that includes fibrillated fibers. The slurry composition can also include a filler that includes glass bubbles.

Abstract: Provided are slurry compositions and methods for producing investment casting molds. These compositions include a refractory material, a binder, a solvent, and a thixotropic agent comprising a polymer emulsion. Implementation of these slurry compositions enables a reduction in the number of backup layers in an investment casting shell, while retaining similar viscosity characteristics and similar or greater strength characteristics in the finished investment mold.

Abstract: Upper and lower tubular components of the support members are in threaded engagement for beam support. Retainer cups secure the support member in place while a lock seats about the upper and lower components to prevent rotation after installation. An opening in the upper tubular component permits charging of the support member with concrete or other reinforcing agent.
