    Abstract: There are systems and methods for estimating and communicating parking lot utilization for parking lots comprising receiving a parking prediction request at a first time comprising obtaining parking lot capacity, identifying associated buildings, determining a first set of potential parkers at the first time based on the associated buildings, obtaining a set of arrived parkers and an arrived parkers count from parking gate pass readers and subtracting an arrived parkers count from the parking lot capacity, getting, from the class server, a likely departing parkers count from the set of arrived parkers and adding the likely departing parkers count to the parking lot capacity and estimating a likely entering parkers count and adding the likely entering parkers count to the parking lot capacity and disseminating the set of parking lot utilizations.

    Abstract: A method and system for filtering and actioning of events, such as energy management events, received from an event generating system, and actioning the events that are not filtered using generators used by a facilities management system. One aspect includes a method for energy management event filtering comprising: receiving, by an event handler controller of a facilities management system, an unfiltered stream of energy management events from an energy management system, where each energy management event relates to violation of a unique rule in the energy management system; and determining, for each energy management event, whether there is an event handler configuration for the rule relating to the energy management event.

    Abstract: The present invention describes a platform for trading homogenous goods. In particular, a multi-attribute market can be readily configured using the platform of the present invention to provide for an efficient value added trading exchange environment. Aspects of the disclosure include a flattening function which maps predefined order characteristics into an orthogonal, normalized dimensions space. This flattening function provides for a ready comparison between active and passive orders to evaluate a matching occurrence. Additionally, the present disclosure provides a configurable platform to support a pipe and filter approach to matching functionality including name value pair and rule based algorithms. Finally, a close match concept is disclosed whereby a market maker can increase liquidity in the market by conveniently determining closely matching orders and communicating with the market participants to facilitate a transaction.
