  • Publication number: 20230092153
Abstract: An electric machine includes a rotor-integrated clutch for a drive train of a motor vehicle, and has a stator and a rotor. The rotor has a carrier, on which a first part of a friction clutch configured for a force-locking connection with a second part is attached, wherein a coolant fluid line is provided in order to supply the stator or the rotor with coolant fluid to bring about heat dissipation. The coolant fluid line is arranged and perforated such that the coolant fluid both drips under gravity onto a section of the rotor in order to generate a spray mist, and flows over the outer surface of the stator.

  • Publication number: 20210190150
Abstract: A clutch unit for a powertrain of a motor vehicle comprises a torque input component which acts as a drive element and a torque output component which acts as an output element. The torque input component can be connected to the torque output component in torque-transmissive fashion via an engageable clutch. The clutch has a translationally movable clutch element configured and arranged such that in an actuation position, the clutch element allows a torque to be transmitted from the torque input component to the torque output component via an interlocking engagement.

  • Patent number: 8862344
Abstract: A clutch actuator and to a method for the control thereof. The actuator actuates a multi-disk clutch, and to do so has actuator modules. The number of which corresponds to the number of the friction clutches. The modules have separate control units and electric motors, which are controlled by the control units and act on the friction clutches by a disengaging mechanism. In order to counter block the partial drive trains disposed downstream of the friction clutches, particularly automatically closed friction clutches during a malfunction of an actuator module, the actuator modules are connected among each other to a data line, which allows monitoring of the actuator modules and counter-measures.

  • Patent number: 7556134
Abstract: A magnetic friction clutch has two clutch parts, supported so that they can rotate relative to each other around an axis of rotation. A first clutch part has at least two clamping jaws which are movable somewhat toward and away from each other. A second clutch part, situated between the clamping jaws, is of disk-shaped design. The clamping jaws are pressable against the second clutch part by the magnetic force of a variable magnetic flux which is carried in the clutch parts in a soft magnetic material, in order to form a frictionally engaged connection between the clutch parts. The second clutch part has a plurality of soft magnetic ring zones permeated by the magnetic flux, which extend in the circumferential direction and are separated from each other in the radial direction by slots running in the circumferential direction. Ring zones adjacent to each other in the radial direction are connected with each other by bridging links.

  • Patent number: 7385329
Abstract: In electric machines, core losses limit, at high fundamental frequency, the permissible full-load power. The aim of the invention is to develop a design which enables a high power density at high magnetic reversal frequencies and which is easy to produce. To this end, the primary part comprises coils which, for the majority of their length, run in the direction of movement and which are surrounded in this area on three sides by soft magnetic material. In the direction of movement, at least two coils are arranged one behind the other. Coils of different phase are arranged perpendicular to the direction of movement inside different running tracks. In the secondary part, at least two oppositely magnetized hard magnets with three collector segments, which are flatly adjacent in a manner that is perpendicular to the direction of movement, form magnet poles having a high flux concentration.

  • Patent number: 7279859
Abstract: In a method for operating an EC motor, position-measurement signals are recorded by a position-measuring device, and, on the basis of the position-measurement signals, commutation instants are determined, at which the current supply to the EC motor is commutated. At least one correction value for at least one position-measurement error contained in the position-measurement signals is ascertained and stored.
