    Abstract: A single use medical device can include a single use medical device module configured for use in a medical procedure. The single use medical device can also include an electronic component having a one-time programmable (“OTP”) component that is configured to render the single use medical device module unusable after being used in the medical procedure in the subject. The single use medical device can also include a self-sacrificing module (SSM) that is configured to self-destruct and render the single use medical device unusable upon being cleaned or sterilized after being used in the medical procedure in the subject. The SSM can be operably coupled with a system controller module (SCM), which can read the state of the SSM and determine whether or not the medical device has undergone cleaning or sterilization.

At least one electronic device layer is disposed on a portion of the second polymer layer. At least one trench is formed through the second polymer layer to expose at least a portion of the first layer. At least a portion of the first layer is removed by exposing the structure to a selective etchant to providing a flexible electronic structure that is in contact with the substrate. The electronic structure can be released from the substrate.

In one example, a method for wireless communication may involve: determining a media access control (MAC) efficiency for a station of a plurality of stations based at least in part on a real-time multi-user (MU) physical protocol data unit (PPDU) length, a real-time physical layer service data unit (PSDU) length of each of the plurality of stations, and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the station; adjusting a goodput estimate of the station using the MAC efficiency; and, adjusting the MCS of the station using the adjusted goodput estimate.

    Abstract: Techniques for forming 3D memory arrays are disclosed. Memory openings are filled with a sacrificial material, such as silicon or nitride. Afterwards, a replacement technique is used to remove nitride from an ONON stack and replace it with a conductive material such as tungsten. Afterwards, memory cell films are formed in the memory openings. The conductive material serves as control gates of the memory cells. The control gate will not suffer from corner rounding. ONON shrinkage is avoided, which will prevent control gate shrinkage. Block oxide between the charge storage region and control gate may be deposited after control gate replacement, so the uniformity is good. Block oxide may be deposited after control gate replacement, so TiN adjacent to control gates can be thicker to prevent fluorine attacking the insulator between adjacent control gates. Therefore, control gate to control gate shorting is prevented.
