Abstract: A charging trigger device sends local area network charging information to a charging processing device, where the local area network charging information is charging information related to a mobile local area network service, and the mobile local area network service is a service in which a telecom operator provides intra-group communication for a mobile local area network group based on at least one user plane data gateway. The charging processing device receives the local area network charging information, performs charging processing on the local area network charging information, and then sends a charging processing result of the local area network charging information to the charging trigger device.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a charging method. The method includes that a session management function determines, a data flow within a protocol data unit, PDU, session and a charging key corresponding to the data flow within the PDU session, wherein a plurality of user plane functions are involved in the PDU session. For each of the plurality of user plane functions, the session management function sends to an online charging system, a quota request for a charging key without available quota for the UPF.

Abstract: A method and a device for terminal device management based on right control are provided. The method includes the following steps. A Get command on an access control list (ACL) of a managed node in a device management tree (DMT) from a device management (DM) server is received, where the Get command includes a Unified Resource Identity (URI) of the managed node. It is determined whether the DM server has a direct right of executing the Get command on the managed node. The Get command is processed when it is determined that the DM server has the direct right of executing the Get command on the managed node. The method and the device simplify the complexity of right management, and reduce the number of times of message interaction between the DM server and a terminal device, thereby improving the efficiency and performance of terminal device management.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for processing a rate group, a method for charging for a data service, and a related device and system, so as to enable a charging system to accurately charge for the data service when the rate group changes. The method includes: determining, by a gateway device, whether a rate group of a service data stream changes; and if the rate group of the service data stream changes, reporting, by the gateway device, charging data to the charging system, so that the charging system performs charging according to the charging data, where the charging data includes service usage information and a reporting reason for reporting the charging data, and the reporting reason indicates a change of the rate group.

The policy control device sends a subscription request to a charging processing device, where the subscription request carries an identifier of a first slice instance and an identifier of user equipment. Then, the policy control device receives a subscription response returned by the charging processing device, where the subscription response includes first information of a first counter corresponding to the first slice instance and a subscription identifier.

Abstract: A service processing method and a related product is applied to the charging field. A policy control device generates a first policy of a user service, and sends the first policy to a session management function device to indicate the session management function device to perform a first quota management mode on the user service. The policy control device receives related information of a second quota management mode of a user or the user service, and determines the second quota management mode. The policy control device generates a second policy of the user service based on the second quota management mode, where the second policy is for updating or replacing the first policy. According to this method, the quota management mode of the user service is time-effective, ensuring a balance between a latency condition and credit control risks.

A control plane function entity determines to request a charging function (CHF) entity to establish a service-based interface (SBI) charging session for a 4G data connection. The control plane function entity requests, through the SBI charging session, to perform online charging and/or offline charging in the 4G data connection. According to the method, the SBI charging session that is requested by the control plane function entity to establish for the 4G data connection may support performing the online charging in the 4G data connection, and support performing the offline charging in the 4G data connection. Therefore, the disclosed embodiments simplify a procedure of charging online data and offline data in the 4G data connection by using different charging sessions.

The service resource is used to manage requesting for a quota for the service in the session and/or manage reporting of usage information of the service in the session. In this way, an operator can accurately perform charging on the guaranteed data service “based on the guarantee status”, to improve user experience. In addition, the operator can obtain revenue corresponding to occupied network resources.
