Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device, a system, and a computer-readable medium for calculating vessel flow parameters based on angiography. In one implementation, the device includes a processor and a memory storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform the following operations: selecting a plurality of template frames from the angiographic images to generate a 3D model for a vessel; determining a start frame and an end frame in the plurality of angiographic images showing a contrast filling process; determining corresponding locations of front ends of the contrast in the start frame and the end frame in the 3D model of the vessel; calculating a vessel volume between the determined locations of the front ends in the 3D model; and determining an average blood flow rate based on the calculated volume, and a time interval between the start frame and the end frame.

  • Patent number: 10314917
Abstract: Sub-100 micron multimodal nanoparticles have four main components: 1) a target element (peptides, lipids, antibodies, small molecules, etc.) that can selectively bind to cells, tissues, or organs of the body; 2) a diagnostic agent such as a fluorophore or NMR contrast agent that allows visualization of nanoparticles at the site of delivery and/or a therapeutic or prophylactic agent; 3) an outside “stealth” layer that allows the particles to evade recognition by immune system components and increase particle circulation half-life; and 4) a biodegradable polymeric material, forming an inner core which can carry therapeutics and release the payloads at a sustained rate after systemic, intraperitoneal, or mucosal administration. These particles possess excellent stability, high loading efficiency, multiple agent encapsulation, targeting and imaging. They are targeted to sites of, or associated with, inflammation caused by a disease, disorder; trauma, chemotherapy or radiation.

  • Publication number: 20180071409
Abstract: Shown and described is a composition and a method to prepare a dopant-free photoluminescent hydrogel with synthetic polymers are disclosed. The hydrogel can be synthesized in one embodiment by incorporating an amino acid to a citric acid based polyester oligomer followed by multiple cros slinking group functionalization through a transesterification reaction using an enzyme such as Candida Antarctica Lipase B (CALB) as a catalyst. The hydrogels are injectable, degradable, and their mechanical and photoluminescent properties are tunable. An in vivo study shows that the hydrogel emits strong fluorescence under visible light excitation and can completely degrade over time.

  • Publication number: 20170195205
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for implementing delay measurement. The method includes: determining, by a measurement apparatus, a delay T0 generated when a first packet is transmitted at a first priority over a first loopback path that includes a first sub-path and a second sub-path; determining a delay T1 generated when a second packet is transmitted over a second loopback path that includes the first sub-path, the second sub-path, a third sub-path, and a fourth sub-path, where the second packet is transmitted at the first priority over the first sub-path and the second sub-path and is transmitted at a second priority over the third sub-path and the fourth sub-path; and determining a delay according to T0 and T1. Therefore a delay can be measured only by implementing a measurement function in the measurement apparatus, thereby resolving a problem of complex implementation.

  • Publication number: 20170195203
Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for implementing packet loss detection. The method includes: determining, by a detection apparatus, there is no packet loss when packet transmission is performed at a first priority over a first loopback path that includes a first subpath and a second subpath; sending N1 packets over a second loopback path that includes the first subpath, the second subpath, a third subpath, and a fourth subpath, where the packets are transmitted at the first priority over the first subpath and the second subpath, and are transmitted at a second priority over the third subpath and the fourth subpath; and determining a packet loss rate according to N1 and a quantity N2 of received packets returned over the second loopback path. Therefore, a packet loss rate can be detected only by implementing a detection function on a detection apparatus, thereby resolving a problem of complex implementation.

  • Publication number: 20170042870
Abstract: Nanoparticles having a positive feedback delivery system include an agent specific for a target in combination with a target inducing agent. Upon administration to a subject, the targeting moiety on the nanoparticles binds to available targets in the subject. The nanoparticles release the target inducing agent and, optionally, a therapeutic agent, at the site where the nanoparticles bind the target. The inducing agent causes additional targets to be expressed. More nanoparticles bind to the additional, induced targets. By inducing additional targets to be expressed at specific regions in the subject that require treatment, more nanoparticles can bind to the targets in that specific region of interest, increasing the concentration of nanoparticles at a specific area of subject is increased.
