Abstract: Here is disclosed a method, an apparatus and a system for identifying a Graphical User Interface (GUI) element. According to an aspect of the present invention, a method of generating a GUI element identification information comprises: displaying a GUI which includes a target GUI element; analyzing the displayed GUI, to acquire attribute information for the target GUI element; acquiring extra information, other than the attribute information, related to the target GUI element; and processing the attribute information and the extra information to generate the identification information for the target GUI element.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and a method for desktop application migration, which are divided to a development phase and an actual runtime phase. During the development phase, interface description data of each window are dumped by traversing all windows of a desktop application; a raw template is semi-automatically generated using the interface description data of each window; it is further designated manually and/or according to rules which parts are “data-type interface elements” based on the raw template, so as to form a final template. During the actual runtime phase, the interface description data of the desktop application are obtained in real time, and values and attribute information of the “data-type interface elements” are dumped therefrom for filling in the template, in order to form a finally-presented webpage. The present invention significantly improves efficiency of creating a new web application and saves development costs by semi-automatically generating the templates.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for converting a desktop application to a Web application. The method comprises: inputting, at a client side, URL of a desired desktop application and sending it to a server; the server providing a code conversion tool (e.g. JavaScript code) to the client and loading the desktop application; at the server, extracting interface information of the loaded desktop application, wrapping the interface information to data in an interface descriptive language format (e.g. XML data), and sending the wrapped data back to the client; and at the client, parsing the XML data by utilizing the code conversion tool to generate relevant webpage elements (e.g. HTML data), so as to display the desktop application. In another embodiment, the server can directly run the code conversion tool to implement the code conversion from XML data to HTML webpage elements.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for automatic objects classification. The method comprises: acquiring a set of objects; classifying the objects based on query log to generate a first classification result; classifying the objects based on ontological information to generate a second classification result; and semantically fusing the first and second classification results to generate a final classification result. According to the present invention, compared with the prior arts, by semantically fusing the query log-based classification result and the ontology-based classification result, the accuracy and user-friendness of the object classification can be improved.

Abstract: The present invention provides a traffic information processing apparatus and method, the apparatus comprises a format unifying device which unifies input traffic information with different formats to traffic information with unified format; and a traffic information integrating device which corrects and/or complements the traffic information with unified format based on a knowledge base to obtain traffic information which is consistent with each other, so as to integrate the traffic information, wherein the knowledge base is external to the apparatus or internal to the apparatus. The traffic information processing apparatus and method according to the present invention can process traffic information with spatial inconsistence, temporal inconsistence and semantic inconsistence so as to integrate effectively the traffic information from a variety of heterogeneous information sources and ensure the accuracy, completeness and reliability of traffic data.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for expanding a query requirement, comprising: a query requirement understanding device which generates an explicit query requirement according to a user query request; and a query requirement expanding device which generates an implicit query requirement associated with the explicit query requirement. The query requirement understanding device generates an explicit query requirement including a query concept and a question type by searching a knowledge base and a language base, and the query requirement expanding device generates an implicit query requirement including a query concept and a question type by searching the knowledge base, the language base and a relevancy database. The present invention further provides a method for expanding a query requirement. The apparatus and method for expanding a query requirement according to the present invention can facilitate a user's query and provide the user with an accurate, comprehensive query answer.
