  • Publication number: 20210051560
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method and a communications device. The method includes: sending, by a base station, a message including measurement configuration to UE, where the measurement configuration is used to request the UE to report a cell global identifier of a cell; obtaining, by the base station, a measurement report reported by the UE, where the measurement report corresponds to the measurement configuration and includes the cell global identifier of the cell and band information of the cell; and performing, by the base station, cell handover based on the band information and the cell global identifier of the cell. By means of the present invention, the base station obtains complete and accurate band information of the cell, so that the base station can perform accurate handover decision, thereby avoiding handover failure.

  • Patent number: 10860226
Abstract: Techniques for synchronizing configuration information in a clustered storage environment. The techniques allow a system administrator or other user to make additions and/or updates to configuration information in one or more configuration files, which are automatically propagated for storage in multiple data storage appliances within a storage domain. By allowing a user to make changes to configuration files associated with a primary appliance within the storage domain, and automatically propagating the configuration files in a background process from the primary appliance to multiple secondary appliances within the storage domain, the user can more readily assure consistency of the configuration information, not only among the primary and secondary appliances within the storage domain, but also among previously unavailable or unreachable data storage appliance(s) that may be recovered and brought back on line within the storage domain.

  • Patent number: 9480009
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for detecting a cell identity conflict. The method includes: determining that a user equipment accesses a first cell or performs connection establishment or connection re-establishment in a first cell at a first time point T1; searching whether interaction information related to the user equipment exists in other cells except the first cell near the first time point T1; and performing cell identity conflict detection on the first cell and a second cell when it is found, through the searching, that the interaction information related to the user equipment exists in the second cell among the other cells near the first time point T1. The embodiments of the present invention do not rely on a neighboring cell list and an operation of reporting cell information by a user equipment, thereby improving detection efficiency of a cell identity conflict.

  • Publication number: 20160277977
Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method and an apparatus for acquiring context information of user equipment. The method includes: receiving, by a first network-side device, a measurement report sent by user equipment; determining a handover target cell and a candidate cell according to the measurement report and a first neighboring-cell configuration relationship; and separately sending context information of the user equipment to a second network-side device to which the handover target cell belongs and a third network-side device to which the candidate cell belongs, where the context information is used to re-establish a radio resource control RRC connection between the user equipment and the second network-side device or the third network-side device when a handover fails. According to the embodiments of this application, a probability that user equipment re-establishes an RRC connection to a cell having context information is increased, which facilitates rapid recovery of a service.
