    Abstract: An apparatus for chemical mechanical polishing includes a support for a polishing pad having a polishing surface, and an electromagnetic induction monitoring system to generate a magnetic field to monitor a substrate being polished by the polishing pad. The electromagnetic induction monitoring system includes a core and a coil wound around a portion of the core. The core includes a back portion, a center post extending from the back portion in a first direction normal to the polishing surface, and an annular rim extending from the back portion in parallel with the center post and surrounding and spaced apart from the center post by a gap. A width of the gap is less than a width of the center post, and a surface area of a top surface of the annular rim is at least two times greater than a surface area of a top surface of the center post.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a new use of desloratadine (DLT) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in preparing a drug for treating a neurodegenerative disease related to motor dysfunction. The present disclosure shows, through a large number of experimental tests, that desloratadine and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof can improve the state of motor dysfunction in an SOD1-G93A model mouse in the behavioral experimental tests of Rotarod experimental test, gait monitoring experimental test and cage experimental test, and that desloratadine and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof can effectively delay the onset time and prolong the survival cycle of the SOD1-G93A model mouse, and therefore, desloratadine and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof can be used to treat neurodegenerative diseases related to motor dysfunction, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

    Abstract: A multi-objective optimization method and system for a master production plan of casting parallel workshops belonging to a casting, producing, and scheduling fields are provided. In the method and the system, discrete coding is adopted, and parallel scheduling information is directly converted into discrete particles. Through crossing and mutation of each particle together with non-dominated particles in a global optimal solution set and individual optimal solution sets, a quick search of a solution space is completed. Congestion distances of non-dominated individuals in the solution space are calculated, sorting is performed according to congestion, and a new population is generated to allow the solutions to be uniformly distributed.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses 3D-structure of SARS-CoV Viral 3CL Protease obtained through molecular simulation. The 3D-structure is used as a drug target for screening the existing medical database CMC (Comprehensive Medicinal Chemistry, MDL Information System, Inc.), and a group of compounds which have the activity of inhibiting SARS-CoV virus 3CL Protease are found. Cinanserin was tested at molecular and viral levels, and it was found to be able to inhibit the SARS-CoV viral 3CL protease and SARS-CoV viruses. Cinanserin analogs were synthesized and tested at molecular and viral levels, they were found to be able to inhibit the SARS-CoV virus 3CL Protease and SARS-CoV viruses, and may be used for treating and/or preventing SARS-CoV virus infection.
