Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing effective hardware acceleration by performing a combination of string matching and range comparison. According to one embodiment, acceleration device of a host device associated with datacenter receives an input stream of information. The received information is matched with contents of a hash-based lookup table to identify one or more units, which satisfy at least one condition for any or a combination of a string match and a range comparison. The identified one or more units are correlated based on a set of conditions, which define at least one rule related to any of a network policy definition, a packet inspection rule, a database operation command or a format of the input stream. Any or a combination of exact string matching and exact range matching is then performed based on the at least one set of correlated units.

  • Publication number: 20200064862
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system determines a difference in time between a local time source and a time of a GPS sensor. The system determines a max limit in difference and a max recovery increment or max recovery time interval for a smooth time source recovery. The system determines that the difference between the local time source and a time of the GPS sensor to be less than the max limit. The system plans a smooth recovery of the time source to converge the local time source to a time of the GPS sensor within the max recovery time interval. The system generates a timestamp based on the recovered time source to timestamp sensor data for a sensor unit of the ADV.

Abstract: A manufacturing system and method for recycling and smelting crushed silica from silicon plants, including a crushed silica storage device, granulator, submerged arc furnace, transfer device, forming device and cooling system. Firstly silicon waste is collected, then crushed silica is output to a granulator. The granulator mixes the waste irregular crushed silica with water, and granulates and produces small particles having an uniform grain size as the raw material for smelting. The raw material is smelted in the submerged arc furnace. The forming device evenly pours the silicon liquid into the cooling system according to a set flow rate. The silicon liquid is solidified to form silicon pellets, and then a lift system is used to lift the formed silicon pellets, wherein the silicon liquid poured into the cooling system has a uniform diameter.
