    Abstract: The method for driving the display panel of the present disclosure includes: acquiring original driving data of an image to be displayed, wherein the original driving data includes a plurality of sub-driving data pieces; the sub-driving data pieces corresponding to a gray scale not exceeding a first threshold value are called first kind sub-driving data pieces, the sub-driving data pieces corresponding to a gray scale not less than a second threshold value are called second kind sub-driving data pieces, and the second threshold value is larger than the first threshold value; judging whether the original driving data satisfies an adjustment condition; and in response to that the original driving data is judged to satisfy the adjustment condition, performing a polarity adjustment on the original driving data to obtain corrected driving data, and driving the display panel to display according to the corrected driving data.
