  • Patent number: 11122099
Abstract: An example device: transmits, to one or more receiving terminals, first frames of video captured by a video camera; determines, after transmission of the first frames of the video, that a signal strength associated with the first network falls below a predetermined threshold; generates audio summarization data corresponding to one or more objects of interest identified in second frames of the video, the second frames captured by the video camera after the first frames; selects a portion of the audio summarization data based on a context associated with a receiving terminal of the one or more receiving terminals; and transmits, using the communication unit, via one or more of the first network and a second network, the portion of the audio summarization data to the receiving terminal.

  • Patent number: 11073972
Abstract: Disclosed is an exemplary method of providing a visual summarization of a plurality of time-stamped annotated images. The method includes receiving the plurality of time-stamped annotated images. The plurality of time-stamped annotated images includes a plurality of object-based annotations. The method includes receiving an object of interest selection (OOI selection) corresponding to at least a first object-based annotation of the plurality of object-based annotations, thereby designating an object of interest (OOI). The method includes filtering the plurality of time-stamped annotated images, based at least in part on the OOI selection, to a subset of the plurality of time-stamped annotated images, thereby creating an object of interest image group (OOI image group). The method includes generating a visual timeline for concurrently displaying the OOI image group.

  • Patent number: 10885912
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a correct voice command. One system includes a communication device that includes an electronic processor configured to receive a first voice command via a microphone and analyze the first voice command using a first type of voice recognition. The electronic processor determines that an action to be performed in accordance with the first voice command is unrecognizable based on the analysis using the first type of voice recognition. The electronic processor transmits the first voice command to a remote electronic computing device accompanying a request requesting that the first voice command be analyzed using a second type of voice recognition different from the first type of voice recognition. The electronic processor receives, from the remote electronic computing device, a second voice command corresponding to the action and different from the first voice command, and outputs, with a speaker, the second voice command.

  • Patent number: 10412318
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing video stream data during live video sharing may reduce network bandwidth consumption by streaming full and partial video frames. An image processing device receives information from an image capturing device including a first full video frame, an object of interest identifier, and a movement profile of the image capturing device. The image processing device extracts a background portion from the first full video frame, exclusive of the object of interest. Subsequently, the image processing device receives a partial second video frame including only an object of interest portion, applies a transformation to the extracted background portion based on the movement profile, and displays a representation of the second video frame including the object of interest portion of the second video frame and the transformed background portion. The image processing device performs fine tuning to compensate for small background or movement profile changes between partial frames.
