  • Publication number: 20170114424
Abstract: The present invention discloses a process for preparing a flame-retardant, lightfast, low fogging and degradable car seat leather wherein ammonia salt deliming is replaced with an ammonia free one, tetrakis hydroxymethyl phosphonium sulfate and the flame-retardant starchy leather surfactant are used as the tanning agents to replace the conventional chrome tanning agent, hot water washing is used to reduce the fogging value of the seat leather, the flame-retardant performance is enhanced by combination of retanning, greasing and coating, the lightfast material is applied to enhance the lightfastness of the coating and the spray coating is replace with the roller coating to lower the consumption of the paints.

  • Publication number: 20070160295
Abstract: The present invention discloses an apparatus of extracting text from document image with complex background, a method of extracting text from document image with complex background, computer program and storage medium thereof. The preferred method of extracting text from document image with complex background according to the present invention comprising the steps of: a first edge extracting step of extracting edges which have higher contrast than a first contrast threshold from said image; a searching step of searching connected edges from said extracted edges; a second edge extracting step of extracting edges which have higher contrast than a second contrast threshold in case that the pixels number of said searched connected edges is bigger than a predetermined size, wherein said second contrast threshold is higher than said first contrast threshold.

  • Patent number: 6580420
Abstract: A computer input device has function buttons which can be moved relative to a position sensor. The device can be used as a mouse. In specific embodiments of the device the position sensor includes a rotatable ball and the device can be operated either as a mouse or as a trackball. Such embodiments have a ball-carrying member which is movably connected to a member which carries one or more function buttons. When configured for mouse operation the ball-carrying member underlies the member which carries the function buttons and a ball on the ball-carrying member frictionally engages a surface under the input device. When configured for operation as a trackball the ball is offset relative to the function buttons so that the ball can be comfortably operated by a user's thumb. The device can be shaped to fit a user's hand ergonomically in both mouse mode and trackball modes.

  • Publication number: 20020060663
Abstract: A computer input device (100) has both a 2-D position sensor (104, 146, 148) and a 1-D control (112, 150) mounted on a housing (102). The 2-D position sensor generates signals in response to movement of the input device across a surface (S). A user can select between a mode in which the 2-D position sensor generates signals responsive to movements of the housing relative to the surface and the 1-D control is insensitive to movements of the housing relative to the surface and, a mode in which the 1-D control generates signals responsive to movements of the housing relative to the surface. In preferred embodiments switching between the modes involves tilting the housing. The 1-D control preferably has an exposed portion (126) which permits it to be manipulated by a finger. The 1-D control may include a rotatable ring (112), which has a lower portion (124) capable of being frictionally engaged with an underlying surface. In various embodiments the rotatable member may be a ball (222), drum (190), or wheel (198).

  • Patent number: 5936612
Abstract: A computer input device has a housing and position sensors in the housing which combine a two dimensional translation sensor, such as a rollerball, with a rotatable circular member, such as a rotatable ring. An encoder measures rotation of the ring relative to the housing and provides a third dimensional input to a host computer. The third dimensional input may be used by a host computer together with a two-dimensional input from the two dimensional position sensor to allow the simultaneous three dimensional direct manipulation of graphical objects on a computer display. Preferably the two dimensional translation sensor is located in the center of the ring. Preferably the two dimensional translation sensor can be disabled by tilting the housing to lift the two dimensional translation sensor out of contact with a surface while maintaining the ring in contact with the surface to provide a 1-D control. This device permits smooth intuitive switching between 1-D, 2-D and 3-D control modes.
