  • Patent number: 9056247
Abstract: A system and method for producing realistic computer character based animation, for example for computer games, by decomposing each character into a plurality of elements, preparing low resolution approximations of at least some elements for constructing a three dimensional approximation of the character and then applying and transforming one or more sprites to the approximations of the elements.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 29, 2012
Date of Patent: June 16, 2015
    Assignee: FUNTACTIX
Inventors: Sam Glassenberg, Nicholas M Covington, Yaron Leifenberg, Alon Cohen

  • Publication number: 20080227553
Abstract: A system for automatic creation of a personal Web page of an online game player and feed of personal data and game content to the pages for each of a plurality of game players. The system includes a game server. The system also includes a game client configured as an application on an electronic game playing device of the player and automatically generated personal Web pages for each of the plurality of game players, wherein the application sends the personal data and the game content over an electronic network to the game server, such that a personal Web page comprising the personal data and game content of a game currently being played by each of the plurality of game players is generated online and is accessible to each corresponding player.

  • Publication number: 20080186307
Abstract: A method for producing procedural content for games having a plurality of nodes. The method includes defining a layer of abstraction in the form the plurality of nodes in a root-parent-child tree for creating a fluid data structure that can be interpreted at build time by predefined parameters. The method also includes implementing each of the plurality of nodes in a scenic graph as a specific building block and producing by the abstraction layer of a different 3-dimensional scenic graph for each instantiation, such that each instantiation may vary in basics including at least one of scale, translation, rotation and instancing, wherein the parameters are defined in ranges and can relate to at least one of scalar numbers and parent properties.
