  • Patent number: 6943443
Abstract: Bumps are formed on electrodes of semiconductor elements, and moreover, the semiconductor elements with the bumps are electrically connected to metallic members having installation members, whereby wiring lines are eliminated. Stray inductance and conduction resistance resulting from wiring lines can be reduced. A conventional dented connector and a projecting connector are eliminated by connecting the installation members to a second circuit board, thereby enabling an electronic circuit device of a power control system to be made compact.

  • Patent number: 6882130
Abstract: The present invention provides a battery-driven electronic device for which a long time use of the battery can be achieved and mobile communications equipment such as a portable telephone. Even if the time at which the output voltage of a battery 201 becomes below the supply voltage required by a load 206 including a power amplifier for wireless communications comes earlier than a conventional lithium ion battery because of its discharge characteristics that the battery voltage change ratio is 0.25 or more, a step-up and -down converter 200 operates as follows. When the output voltage of the battery is higher than the supply voltage required by the load, the voltage is set to a predetermined supply voltage by the step-down operation mode. When the output voltage of the battery is decreased and becomes lower than the supply voltage required by the load, the voltage is set to a predetermined supply voltage by the step-up operation mode.

  • Patent number: 6477063
Abstract: A multi-output switching power source apparatus having a plurality of outputs, wherein electric power regenerated from a load side to one of the outputs can be output as electric power supplied to other loads. The switching power source apparatus comprises a main switching circuit for turning ON/OFF the voltage of a DC power source and for inputting the voltage to the primary winding of a transformer, secondary switching circuits for rectifying AC voltages induced across the output windings, output capacitors for smoothing and outputting the voltages, and a control drive circuit for adjusting the ON/OFF periods of the switching circuits. The outputs are short-circuited during the OFF period of the main switching circuit via the transformer, whereby the fluctuations of the output voltages can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 5262733
Abstract: A pulse-width modulation amplifier includes a triangular signal oscillator for generating a triangular carrier signal. A voltage comparator compares an input analog signal and the triangular carrier signal, and converts the input analog signal into a corresponding pulse-width modulation signal. A power amplifier serves to amplify the pulse-width modulation signal. A low pass filter removes carrier components from an output signal of the power amplifier, and generates a demodulated signal corresponding to the input analog signal. The amplitude of the triangular carrier signal is controlled in response to a power supply voltage fed to the power amplifier so that the amplitude of the triangular carrier signal will be substantially proportional to the power supply voltage.

  • Patent number: 4220613
Abstract: A liquid feeder comprises an assembly of chemicals-feeding nozzles, each of which is fabricated by securing wall members, having nozzle holes each, between pairs of adjacent tubes, thereby forming a boxlike nozzle. The tubes are those of a flow path or circuit through which the fluid in a boiler or preboiler unit is taken out and is returned to either unit. The liquid feeder is intended for use with various plants, especially boiler plants.
