  • Publication number: 20100312255
Abstract: A method of producing a medical instrument whereby a highly hydrophilic and lubricant coating layer having a high durability can be formed by a simple technique and thus highly hydrophilic and lubricant properties can be imparted to a surface of a medical instrument. An intraocular lens insertion instrument having been subjected to a surface treatment as described above is also provided. The method comprises the steps of: preparing a coating solution by mixing at least a water-insoluble polymer having carboxyl group and a polyfunctional reactive compound with an organic solvent; applying this solution on the surface of the medical instrument; conducting crosslinking; and performing a chemical reaction process whereby the coating layer is made hydrophilic. The intraocular lens insertion instrument is made hydrophilic by forming the coating layer as described above on an inner surface of an insertion tube portion, crosslinking and then performing the chemical reaction process.

  • Publication number: 20100265004
Abstract: The present invention provides a PIN diode switch circuit capable of sufficiently suppressing the generation of burst noise with each switching operation. The PIN diode switch circuit is switched to a state in which a terminal (X) and a terminal (Z) are connected to each other and a state in which a terminal (Y) and the terminal (Z) are connected to each other, by forward bias and reverse bias of PIN diodes (3 and 4). In the PIN diode switch circuit, a time constant circuit (51) and a snubber circuit (54) are provided in a path of a control signal, which extends from a terminal (CX) to the PIN diode (3), and a time constant circuit (61) and a snubber circuit (64) are provided in a path of a control signal, which extends from a to/urinal (CY) to the PIN diode (4), thereby suppressing burst noise that appears at a connecting point (Q) of a capacitor (5) and a coil (6).

  • Patent number: 7653458
Abstract: A robot device, which autonomously performs actions, includes a moving unit that moves the robot device, and a target position acquiring unit that acquires position information of a target. A movement method judging unit receives an instruction for a movement from a user, and judges whether or not a destination can be designated by fixed position information. When it is judged that the destination can be designated by the fixed position information, control is performed by a position movement control unit. When it is judged that the destination cannot be designated by the fixed position information, control is performed by a target movement control unit, which acquires position information from the target position acquiring unit, to operate the moving unit.

  • Publication number: 20090225240
Abstract: To provide an image display apparatus that is allowed to incorporate a panel module with excellent mechanical strength even if a screen is upsized and the apparatus is slimmed down. Strengthening units are mounted along a horizontal direction on canopies provided on an upper portion and a lower portion of a panel module constituting a display unit of a large-size, thin image display apparatus. Also, supporting members are mounted on the upper and lower strengthening units in such a manner that the supporting members bridge between the upper and lower strengthening units, so that a stand, or a chain or a string to be used when hanging the image display apparatus is mountable to the supporting members. This prevents direct application of external force to the panel module.

  • Patent number: 7366576
Abstract: A machine tool moves a driven member by use of a servomotor. A position control device controls the position of the driven member in accordance with full closed loop control. The position control device computes an integrated feedback value g in correspondence with a function F (VM, PM, Vm, Pm) in which four state amounts, motor speed VM, motor position PM, driven member speed Vm, and driven member position Pm are independent variables. The thrust instruction ?*, which is inputted to the servomotor, is compensated with the integrated feedback value g. The servomotor is thus optimally driven and controlled in accordance with full closed loop control.

  • Patent number: 7272717
Abstract: Each embodiment of this invention implements step-by-step and empirical authentication of devices upon digital authentication among a plurality of devices. Each of a plurality of authentication devices of each embodiment can unidirectionally generate a hash value of a low experience rank from a hash value of a high experience rank, and receives a set of high experience rank and hash value in accordance with an experience. Upon receiving a certification request of the experience rank from another authentication device, the authentication device transmits a corresponding hash value to the authentication device as a request source. Upon sending a certification request of an experience rank to another authentication device, the authentication device verifies a hash value obtained from the other authentication device on the basis of a self hash value. In this way, the authentication devices authenticate each other's experience ranks.

  • Patent number: 7245983
Abstract: A method corrects thermal displacement of a machine tool having a rotational spindle. The method includes detecting a rotation speed of the spindle. A thermal displacement amount of the spindle in the current cycle of execution of a program is estimated by using an arithmetic expression that is based at least on the spindle rotation speed and a thermal displacement amount that has been estimated in the preceding cycle of execution of the program. The estimated thermal displacement amount in the current cycle is used as a correction amount for canceling the thermal displacement of the spindle. Therefore, thermal displacement of a machine tool is corrected with no complicated processes when a spindle rotation speed changes.

  • Patent number: 7201546
Abstract: When a rotary table rotates, a main control section of a multi-tasking machine detects vibration of the rotary table on which a workpiece is mounted based on fluctuation of a position droop computed by a servo system. The main control section computes the arrangement position (the eccentricity amount and the eccentricity angle) of the workpiece with respect to the rotary table based on, for example, the detected vibration, the weight of the workpiece, and the rotation speed of the rotary table. The main control section computes the attachment position of a balancer with respect to the rotary table based on the computed arrangement position of the workpiece. Therefore, a suitable attachment position of a vibration suppressing balancer with respect to the rotary table is easily obtained.
