  • Publication number: 20240084773
Abstract: An engine start abnormality diagnosis apparatus determines a cause of a long cranking abnormality in which, when an engine including cylinders is started, start of the engine is not completed even if a cranking period is equal to or greater than a predetermined time. The engine start abnormality diagnosis apparatus includes a rotation speed detector and an abnormality diagnosis processor. The rotation speed detector detects a rotation speed of a crankshaft of the engine when at least one of the cylinders is in a latter stage of a compression stroke. The abnormality diagnosis processor determines that the cause of the long cranking abnormality is an electric system abnormality when the rotation speed is less than a predetermined threshold, and determines that the cause of the long cranking abnormality is a combustion abnormality when the rotation speed is equal to or greater than the threshold.

  • Patent number: 11322058
Abstract: A device management apparatus 31 communicates with a plurality of devices to be managed. When an imaging apparatus in which abnormality occurs is detected, or in a case where any imaging apparatus is specified by a user from the imaging apparatuses in which the abnormality occurs, the device management apparatus 31 communicates with the imaging apparatus located within a specific range based on a position of the detected imaging apparatus in which the abnormality occurs or the imaging apparatus in which the abnormality occurs specified by the user, and performs the device specification display using a display unit of the imaging apparatus located within the specific range. By referring to the device specification display, the user may easily specify a desired device, for example, the device in which the abnormality occurs from a plurality of devices.

  • Patent number: 10834315
Abstract: An imaging apparatus having no synchronization support function by a time code and to cut down a system cost, in synchronizing respective moving images in the case of outputting and displaying moving images input from a plurality of imaging apparatuses through network transmission. A vertical synchronization signal input from a particular imaging apparatus among a plurality of imaging apparatuses is used as a reference to select frame image data items from moving image data input from the plurality of imaging apparatuses, and the selected frame image data items are integrated into a single stream and sent. Even in a case where the plurality of imaging apparatuses captures videos asynchronously, it becomes possible to select, from the respective moving images, frame images with a small imaging timing difference on the basis of the vertical synchronization signal of the particular imaging apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10708500
Abstract: An information processing apparatus, including circuitry configured to transmit a start instruction to a first camera apparatus and a second camera apparatus. The start instruction causes the first camera apparatus to start incrementing a first counter and the second camera apparatus to start incrementing a second counter for a video recording time period. The circuitry receives, from the first camera apparatus, a first recording-start frame identifier that indicates a value of the first counter and a second recording-end frame identifier that indicates the value of the second counter. The circuitry receives, from the second camera apparatus, a first recording-start frame identifier that identifies a value of the second counter and a second recording-end frame identifier that identifies the value of the second counter.

  • Patent number: 10645258
Abstract: Focal plane distortion is prevented from standing out in the vicinity of a joint when a plurality of captured images are stitched and synthesized. A plurality of cameras are provided. Each camera includes an image sensor that outputs a signal by a raster scan scheme. Phases of a vertical synchronization signal supplied to the image sensors of the plurality of cameras are respectively shifted according to information of gap amounts of captured images of the respective cameras from a reference position in a vertical direction. Even if there are gaps in the vertical direction between the installed cameras, positional gaps between the installed image sensors due to variations in individual camera main bodies, and the like, there are no lines with largely different capture times in the vicinity of a joint of a synthesized image, and focal plane distortion is prevented from standing out in the vicinity of this joint.

  • Publication number: 20180324475
Abstract: A usage amount of a network bandwidth is kept small such that the network bandwidth is utilized. Data items of images captured by imaging with a plurality of cameras in a manner that adjacent ones of the captured images overlap with each other are stored into a storage unit. Cutting-out-target-region information items for a predetermined number of cameras selected from the plurality of cameras are received from an external device via a network. On the basis of the cutting-out-target-region information items for the predetermined number of cameras, data items of images of cutting-out-target regions are cut out from corresponding ones of the data items of the images captured by the plurality of cameras, the data items of the captured images being stored in the storage unit, and are transmitted to the external device via the network.
