    Abstract: Difficulties in retaining can holders in conventional vehicular drink holders are eliminated in a vacuum insulated can holder that includes a cup-shaped metallic outer liner having an upper opening, an opposite bottom and a generally cylindrical side wall extending upwardly from the bottom to the opening. A similarly configured cup-shaped metallic inner liner is nested within the outer liner and spaced therefrom to define vacuum space between the two. The outer liner has an outer diameter just less than the inner diameter of a conventional vehicular beverage holder while the inner diameter of the inner liner is just greater than the outer diameter of a conventional metal beverage can.

    Abstract: An insulated beverage container includes an outer container having a generally cylindrical inner wall (24), an outer wall (22) spaced from the inner wall and together therewith defining an insulating space (26). A vacuum is pulled in the insulating space (26) and an access opening (34) is provided at the top of the outer container. A plastic ring (30) is mounted on the outer container about the access opening (34) and has a shoulder section (34) overlying the top of the outer container and a downwardly extending sleeve section (32) integral with the shoulder section and embracing the outer wall (22). An inner container (12) formed of a material selected from the group consisting of glass, plastic and ceramics is nested within the outer container (10) through the access opening and has an open top (16) extending out of the access opening and an outer surface contacting the ring (30).

    Abstract: There is disclosed a traction drive fluid which comprises a base oil blended with (A) an active phosphate ester base compound, (B) a boron-containing imide base dispersant (e.g. polyalkenyl succinimide treated with a boron compound) and (C) a boron-free imide base dispersant (e.g. polyalkenyl succinimide) in such blending amounts that the phosphorus content derived from the component (A) and the boron content derived from the component (B) are each 100 to 600 ppm, preferably 60 to 300 ppm by weight, and at least 60 ppm by weight, respectively based on the base oil, and the boron-free imide base dispersant (C) is blended so that the ratio by weight of the nitrogen in the component(C) to the boron in the component (B) is at least 1, preferably 1 to 6.

An actuator attachment section (52) is affixed to the movable gasket section (38) and a lever (36) is pivoted to the base (24) and to the actuator attachment section (52) at spaced locations.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a lubricating oil composition for automatic transmissions which comprises a base oil comprising at least one oil selected from the group consisting of a mineral oil and a synthetic oil each having a specific kinematic viscosity and a % CA; (A) a non-boron based succinic acid imide (e.g. polybutenylsuccinic acid imide) and a boron based succinic acid imide each in an amount of 0.1 to 5% by weight based on the whole composition; (B) a condensation product of a branched chain fatty acid having 8 to 30 carbon atoms (e.g. isostearic acid) and an amine (e.g. tetraethylene-pentamine) in an amount of 0.05 to 2% by weight based on the same; and (C) a dialkyl hydrogenphosphite (e.g. dioleyl hydrogenphosphite) in an amount of 0.1 to 1% by weight based on the same, and optionally at least one member selected from viscosity index improvers, antioxidants, metal deactivators, defoaming agents, detergents, extreme pressure agents and rust preventives.

    Abstract: A travel mug includes a vessel 10 defined by two shells 14, 16 nested within one another and spaced from each other to define an insulating space 18. Both have open upper ends 20, 22 that are joined in an annular upper end joint 24. An annular shoulder gasket 26 is located on the joint 24 and an annular shoulder 30 is mounted on one of the shells 14, 16 to cover the shoulder gasket 26. The shoulder has a radially inwardly directed gross sealing surface 40 near a lower edge as well as a radially inner thread 42. A lid 12 is removably threaded on the shoulder 30 and has an annular side wall 56 merging with a bottom wall 52 having an imperforate center 52. An array of sip holes 66 is located at the point 58 of merger of the walls 52, 56, and are aligned with the gross sealing surface 40 to be closed thereby when the lid 12 is fully threaded into the vessel 10.
