  • Patent number: 4345714
Abstract: In control of an air conditioner, a first deviation corresponding to the rate of change of the actual air temperature in a compartment is detected such that an expected value of the actual air temperature to be obtained as a stable value under the control of the air conditioner is detected to detect a second deviation in relation to a desired temperature. When the second deviation is larger than a predetermined value, a third deviation is also detected in relation to the second deviation to adjust the temperature of air flow supplied from the air conditioner and to eliminate undesired temperature deviation caused by fluctuation of the heat load in the compartment.

  • Patent number: 4340113
Abstract: In an electric control method and apparatus for an automobile air conditioning system, an air-blend door is arranged between an evaporator and a heater within an air duct to control an amount of the cooled air flowing through the heater into a passenger compartment and to control an amount of the cooled air directly flowing into the compartment, and a refrigerant compressor for the evaporator is connected to a prime mover of the automobile when the air-blend door is opened to allow the cooled air flowing through the heater in a limited range and is disconnected from the prime mover when the air-blend door is further opened to allow the cooled air flowing through the heater beyond the limited range.

  • Patent number: 4328855
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling an automobile air conditioner wherein a deviation between the actual in-car temperature and a desired in-car temperature is periodically calculated to detect such various thermal disturbances as changes of the solar heat, the temperature of outside air, the number of passengers and the like, and wherein a compensation value of the opening angle of the air-blend door is determined in accordance with the periodical variation of the deviation to ensure stable control of the in-car temperature.

  • Patent number: 4167858
Abstract: In the pipeline of a refrigerator system comprising a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator, a thermistor adapted to serve as a detector for detecting the dryness of refrigerant is disposed so as to be immersed in the refrigerant at a position where the refrigerant is changed into a homogeneous gas-liquid mixture under the low refrigerant condition. The dryness of the refrigerant is detected by utilizing the fact that while the thermistor is cooled by the refrigerant when its quantity is normal, when its quantity is below normal the refrigerant is changed into a dry gas so that the thermistor is not cooled by the refrigerant and its resistance value is changed. Also a control circuit is provided which is responsive to the signal from the detector, whereby when the dryness of the refrigerant reaches a predetermined value, a signal is generated to render the compressor inoperative.
