Abstract: One embodiment provides a device including a processor, a detector and a controller. The processor acquires a first operation state of a network-connected device, a second operation state of a video recorder and content information regarding a content playable by the video recorder. The detector detects a movement of a user including a start of a movement of a user away from the video recorder toward the network-connected device. The controller performs a control of an operation of the video recorder by using the second operation state and the movement of the user after a change of the first operation state if the first operation state is changed after a detection of the start of the movement of the user.
