  • Publication number: 20020047457
Abstract: A core insulator fit on a stacked core is formed in a single unit which has tooth cover pieces and coil bobbin piece. The tooth cover pieces are formed to extend in the radial direction and be spaced apart equi-angularly for covering one axial side surface of the stacked core. The coil bobbin piece extends from the corresponding tooth cover pieces in the axial direction to cover the inner side surfaces of slots of the stacked core. The top ends of the coil bobbin piece protrude from the other axial side surface of the stacked core, when the core insulator is fit on the stacked core.

  • Publication number: 20010048259
Abstract: An outer yoke of a dynamo-electric machine is made from at least one piece of plate material that has at least one pair of tongue and groove. The tongue is formed at one end of the plate material, and the groove is formed at the other end of the plate material in opposing relationship to the tongue. The outer yoke is formed into a cylindrical shape by engaging the tongue with the groove while the plate material is rolled into the cylindrical shape. A rotor and the inner yoke constitute a dynamo-electric machine main body. The dynamo-electric machine main body is fitted within the outer yoke such that the outer yoke is expanded radially outwardly by the dynamo-electric machine main body to secure the outer yoke to the inner yoke in tightly contacting relationship therewith.

  • Publication number: 20010021951
Abstract: The present invention provides an ATAPI command receiving method in which the CPU 72 can quickly correspond to other processings without expending much time for capturing data, as well as it can be prevented that data which are being captured by the CPU should be destroyed. In this ATAPI command receiving method, when an ATAPI protocol control LSI 71 comprising a shared register storage area 711 (including a data FIFO 7112 for containing command packets) for receiving a command from the host computer via an ATA bus 2, and a buffer memory 712 which can be used as a RAM of a CPU 72 receives a command, shared register values (including a command packet value) are stored at a storage destination address in the buffer memory 712 which is designated by the CPU 72, when the data storage permission is given by the CPU 72.

  • Patent number: 6220383
Abstract: An electric power unit is composed of a secondary battery, a cooling fan, a fan motor and a case for the secondary battery, the cooling fan and the fan motor. The case has a partition for isolating the fan motor from the secondary battery and cooling fan. A magnetic joint is disposed between the motor and the cooling fan.

  • Patent number: 5643530
Abstract: The invention intends to develop a functional material provided with sufficient non-magnetism, strength and ductility. The material is a non-magnetic high manganese cast product composed of 0.2 to 0.03% C, not more than 1.0%. Si, 10 to 20% Mn, not more than 0.1% P, not more than 0.05% S, 15.0 to 20.0% Cr, 2.5 to 6.0% Ni and not more than 0.20% N, and is used in a state of as cast. In this non-magnetic high manganese cast product, a magnetic permeability in the state as cast is not more than 1.05, and the non-magnetic high manganese steel has mechanical properties such that a tensile strength is not less than 620N/mm.sup.2, a proof strength is not less than 250N/mm.sup.2, an elongation is not less than 40%, and a reduction of area is not less than 30%. The material is preferably applied to a complicated or large-sized product.

  • Patent number: 5242760
Abstract: Disclosed are a magnetic ribbon on at least one surface of which fine particles formed of a nonmagnetic inorganic substance having insulating properties are attached and a magnetic core around which this magnetic ribbon is wound or on which it is laminated. The fine particles serve as a spacer to form a layer of air between adjacent layers of the magnetic ribbon.
