Abstract: A fermentation metabolite generated by an isolated lactic acid bacterium including at least one of a Bv-889 strain of Bifidobacterium breve, a BLI-02 strain of Bifidobacterium longum subsp. infantis, a CP-9 strain of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis, a Bf-688 strain of Bifidobacterium bifidum, an AP-32 strain of Lactobacillus salivarius subsp. salicinius, and a GL-156 strain of Lactobacillus paracasei. The fermentation metabolite of the abovementioned strains have a skin-whitening effect and is in form of a food composition or a cosmeceutical composition.

Abstract: A food composition and pharmaceutical composition with strains of lactic acid bacteria for modulating blood glucose are provided, comprising an isolated lactic acid bacteria strain. The isolated lactic acid bacteria strain is at least one selected from a group including a GL-104 strain of Lactobacillus reuteri (CCTCC NO: M209138), an AP-32 strain of Lactobacillus salivarius subsp. salicinius (CCTCC NO: M2011127), a TYCA06 strain of Lactobacillus acidophilus (CGMCC No: 15210), and an MH-68 strain of Lactobacillus johnsonii (CCTCC NO: M2011128), or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A method of inhibiting oral pathogens comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of lactobacillus strain-containing food composite, medical composite and oral cleaning composite. The lactobacillus strain is at least one isolated lactobacillus strain selected from a group including Lactobacillus acidophilus F-1 strain; Lactobacillus salivarius subsp. salicinius AP-32 strain; Lactobacillus reuteri GL-104 strain; Lactobacillus paracasei GL-156 strain; Lactobacillus helveticus RE-78 strain; Lactobacillus rhamnosus CT-53 strain; and Lactobacillus paracasei ET-66 strain. The abovementioned lactobacillus strains are able to inhibit oral pathogens and carried by a food composite, an oral cleaning composite or a medical composite.

Abstract: A noise-canceling sound playing structure includes a noise canceling mechanism having at least one filtering and phase-reversing unit, an amplifier, and a power supply unit; and a sound output mechanism having at least one enclosure. The enclosure has a first speaker arranged therein and connected to the amplifier, a second speaker arranged therein and connected to an external sound player, and a microphone mounted thereon and connected to the filtering and phase-reversing unit. A chamber is defined in the enclosure between the first and second speakers and the microphone. External noise signals are picked up by the microphone and sent to the noise canceling mechanism for processing at the filtering and phase-reversing unit and the amplifier to thereby produce phase-reversed signals, which are sent to the first speaker to cancel out external noise without being mixed with the musical sound transmitted from the external sound player to the second speaker.
