    Abstract: Provided are a cruise method and apparatus of a heavy pan-tilt, a medium, and an electronic device. The method includes the following steps: A starting preset position of the heavy pan-tilt performing a preset position cruise in a current unit rotation stage of a current pan-tilt cruise cycle is determined, where one unit rotation stage corresponds to one rotation; the starting preset position is taken as a stop starting point, and at least two stop preset positions of the heavy pan-tilt in the current unit rotation stage are determined from preset positions divided in advance, where two adjacent stop positions in the same unit rotation stage are spaced by a preset number of preset positions; and the heavy pan-tilt is controlled to rotate sequentially on the at least two stop preset positions of the current unit rotation stage.

The system and method employ a surface panel operable to transmit and receive a telemetry signal through a wireline extending along a wellbore. A power converter receives and converts electrical power from the cable to operating power for a downhole tractor motor. A modem coupled to the cable processes and provides the telemetry signal to a microcontroller. A noise signal pathway provides a noise signal from the tractor motor directly to the microcontroller, the noise signal representative of electrical noise generated by the downhole tractor. The microcontroller performs noise cancellation on the telemetry signal to produce a de-noised telemetry signal by obtaining an estimated noise channel transfer function for the noise signal, and applying the estimated noise channel transfer function and the noise signal to the telemetry signal from the modem.

    Abstract: A digital telemetry system can be calibrated to improve data communication. A receiver can receive a modulated signal with a predetermined sequence of transmitted symbols. A processing device can be communicatively coupled to the receiver for jointly performing carrier phase synchronization and symbol-timing recovery on the modulated signal to determine a corrective phase offset and a corrective timing offset. The receiver can be calibrated to use the corrective phase offset and the corrective timing offset for demodulating a subsequently modulated signal. In additional or alternative aspects, a demodulator can demodulate the modulated signal and determine an amount of interference introduced to the modulated signal. A transmitter can transmit data based on the amount of interference to a modem that transmitted the modulated signal for use by the modem to dynamically adjust hit allocation of the subsequently modulated signal.
