  • Publication number: 20220383383
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods relating to checking and confirming merchandise purchased at shopping facilities. In one form, the system includes: a shopping cart containing merchandise items to be purchased; a sales transaction database; a point-of-sales system that creates transaction records identified by transaction identifiers; and a mobile device used by an employee that includes a sensor to scan a paper or digital receipt to obtain the transaction identifier and a camera to capture images of the items in the shopping cart. The system also includes a control circuit that receives the transaction identifier, accesses the database using the identifier to determine the purchased items; analyzes the images of the merchandise items in the shopping cart and creates a computer vision receipt listing detected items; compares the purchased items with the detected items; and takes an action if there is a discrepancy.

  • Publication number: 20080010940
Abstract: A change from building-on-land to building-above-land reserves land (12) for vegetation (16A, 16B, 16C) the earth's solar system, and natural environment. High columns (26A, 26C) are mainly for short vegetation (16B) to grow under buildings (18A, 18C, 18D, 18E). Low columns (26B) are mainly for tall and extra tall vegetation (16A, 16C) to grow over buildings (18B, 18C, 18D, 18E). High columns (26A, 26C) and low columns (26B) can support buildings (18C, 18D) together and reserve land (12) for different vegetation (16A, 16C, 16B). Columns (26A, 26B, 26C) can be developed into various supporting structures (52A, 52B, 52C, 52D) and supporting-greenhouses (54A, 54B, 54C) that can create indoor ecosystem, reduce cost for heating, increase arable land in barren areas, and keep conventional building styles, conveniences and privacy. Substitutes (26E, 26D, 34?, 54D) are also available to support roads (24A, 24B) and building (18F).

  • Patent number: 6617278
Abstract: The present invention provides a catalyst system and processes for preparing the system for use in ethylene polymerization and copolymerization. The catalyst system is obtained by dissolving any electron-donor activator and optionally, a metal halide adjusting agent, into a solution of magnesium halide in a solvent system consisting essentially of organic epoxy compounds and organic phosphorous compounds to form a homogeneous solution. At least one coprecipitator and a titanium halide or its derivative is then mixed to form a solid component, followed by incorporating in combination with an organic aluminum component prior to use in polymerizations. The electron donor activator is an ether or alcohol, and the coprecipitator is an organic acid, anhydride, ether, or ketone.

  • Patent number: 6387839
Abstract: The present invention provides a compound catalyst system useful for synthesizing polyethylenes or copolymers of ethylene having bimodal or broad molecular weight distributions, prepared by incorporating an organic alcohol as an electron-donor compound and an aluminoxane compound into the prior art compound catalyst systems, thereby promoting the activities of the two active centers, which leads to not only a large improvement in the activity of the catalyst system, but also the formation of polyethylenes and copolymers of ethylene having bimodal or broad molecular weight distributions, which in turn gives polymers having excellent processability and mechanical properties. A process for preparing the solid catalyst component used in the compound catalyst system according to the present invention and use of the compound catalyst system are also disclosed.
