    Abstract: A baicalin magnesium compound and methods for preparing and extracting the same. The method for preparing the baicalin magnesium compound includes steps of preparation of a baicalin suspension, preparation of a magnesium ion-containing suspension, reaction and drying. The method for extracting the baicalin magnesium compound includes steps of pretreatment of macroporous resin, extraction, adsorption and elution, concentration and drying and purification. The methods restores the baicalin to the original form as found in radix scutellariae, and the baicalin magnesium compound may be used as a substitute for the baicalin in pharmaceutical applications. As compared to the baicalin, the baicalin magnesium has a greatly increased solubility, faster adsorption rate and higher oral bioavailability. The baicalin magnesium compound may also be easily formulated as a water-soluble injection or a powder injection.

    Abstract: An air kerma conventional true value determining method is provided, which addresses the problem of on-site and in-situ verification or calibration of radiation protection with existing standard reference radiation, which is large in spatial volume and unable or difficult to be moved. The method includes establishing a minitype reference radiation, selecting a proper radiation source and source intensity for providing incident rays for a shielding box, selecting a plurality of gamma ray dosimeters as samples for training a prediction model to obtain the prediction model of the air kerma conventional true value of a point of test, putting a probe of a dosimeter being verified at the point of test, recording scattering gamma spectrum measured by a gamma spectrometer, with the spectrum applied as input to the prediction model to obtain the air kerma conventional true value. The results are accurate and the reference radiation is small in size.

Improved high temperature sensor assemblies for reducing gas are provided. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides advantageous impedancemetric high temperature gas sensor assemblies based on electrospun nanofibers and having selectivity towards reducing gas, and related methods of use. In exemplary embodiments, the present disclosure provides for impedancemetric high temperature gas sensor assemblies having selectivity towards reducing gas. In certain embodiments, the sensor assembly includes electrospun nanofibers. Impedancemetric techniques have been employed at high operating frequency (e.g., 105 Hz) for the first time to provide real-time assemblies, methods and devices to sensitively and/or selectively detect reducing gas (e.g., CO, C3H8 (propane), etc.) at high temperatures (e.g., at about 800° C.).
