  • Publication number: 20240096351
Abstract: A plurality of gap patterns are formed on a front surface of a substrate along a direction corresponding to a width direction of a magnetic tape. The first straight line region has a steeper inclined angle with respect to the first imaginary straight line than the second straight line region. Positions of both ends of the first straight line region and positions of both ends of the second straight line region are aligned in a direction corresponding to a width direction of a magnetic tape. Positions of the plurality of gap patterns are aligned in a longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape. A pulse signal is supplied to each of the plurality of gap patterns with a delay of a predetermined time from one side to the other side in a direction in which the plurality of gap patterns are arranged.

  • Patent number: 10933044
Abstract: Using the cobblestone area (CA) formation inhibitory activity of human leukemic stem cell-like cells as an indicator, a fraction having the activity has been extracted from the fat-soluble fraction of Porifera, then, a compound having the activity has been isolated and purified from the aforementioned fraction, and then, the structure thereof has been determined, so that a Stelliferin compound comprising a novel compound has been identified. Moreover, it has been found that the isolated and purified Stelliferin compound significantly suppresses the niche formation of leukemic stem cell-like cells derived from human chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) having resistance to existing antitumor agents and enhances the effects of antitumor agents on the cells.

  • Publication number: 20040000345
Abstract: In a reservoir unit for use in a marine vessel, in order to prevent in a simple structure water having accumulated on the bottom of the fuel tank from entering the reservoir or, even if the water enters the reservoir, to make possible its draining, an opening is bored in the bottom plate of the reservoir to be installed in the fuel tank for the marine vessel, and elevating legs are provided on the outer face of the bottom plate. Further an extension cylinder extending upwards from the reservoir is fixed to the reservoir, a cylindrical portion extending downwards is formed on the upper subunit, and the cylindrical portion and the extension cylinder are fitted one inside the other to make the distance between the reservoir and the upper subunit variable. In addition, the reservoir is so structured as to have on the inner face of its bottom plate a slope inclined downwards towards the opening.

  • Patent number: 6575199
Abstract: Fuel supply pipe 43 includes a fixed fuel supply pipe 43b that comprises a metal, such as stainless steel, and connecting fuel supply pipes 43a, 43c that comprise a resin or similar material. The bulk resistivity of connecting fuel supply pipes 43a, 43c is chosen to be within the range from 107 to 1011 &OHgr;·cm. By doing this, the amount of electric charge that builds up in the fuel when the fuel passes through connecting fuel supply pipes 43a, 43c can be held low. Further, the electric charge that builds up on connecting fuel supply pipes 43a, 43c is not rapidly discharged. Therefore, spark discharge can be prevented from being generated on connecting fuel supply pipe 43a. Connecting fuel supply pipes 43a, 43c may have a multi-layer structure that includes an innermost layer having a bulk resistivity of 107 to 1011 &OHgr;·cm and an outermost layer having a bulk resistivity of about 1012 &OHgr;·cm or more.
