Abstract: In an adsorption-type refrigerating apparatus, an adsorber includes therein an adsorbent having a temperature-dependent characteristic in which an amount adsorbed in an adsorption step is larger than an amount adsorbed in a desorption step, even when a vapor pressure rate in the adsorption step is equal to or lower than a vapor pressure rate in the desorption step. Therefore, even when the cooling temperature of outside air for cooling the adsorbent increases, a sufficient cooling capacity can be obtained. In addition, a difference between the amount adsorbed in the adsorption step and the amount adsorbed in the desorption step can be made larger.

Abstract: A bag making machine for producing thermosplastic resin film bags including rollers for intermittently advancing a flat tubular web of thermoplastic resin film, a sealing assembly positioned downstream from the roller, a heated cutting bar having a sharp edge for providing efficient cutting and concomitantly preventing build-up of carbon by-product, roller elements for reversing the direction of advancement of the resin film, first drive elements for controllably driving the rollers in first and second directions and second drive elements for transversely driving the sealing and heated cutting bar toward and away from the flat web of thermoplastic resin film.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transferring and bundling plastic bag sheet material wherein bag cycle speed is automatically slowed, but not stopped, during a bundle transfer operation and cycle speed is resumed after one slow speed bag production cycle.
