Abstract: A method of producing a high tenacity metal wire material having improved bending and torsional properties as well as high toughness and excellent fatigue resistance is provided without losing tenacity and elongation property. In the method, when a heat treatment is performed at a temperature range of 90-300° C. on a metal wire material of high-carbon steel containing 0.5-1.1% by mass of carbon atoms and having a processing strain of 2.5 or greater and tensile strength of 3,000 MPa or greater, a relationship between heat treatment time t(s) and heat treatment temperature T(K) at said temperature range represented by the equation: 0.1?Ln(t)?10100/T+20?11 is satisfied.

Abstract: A printing machine generates use information including the number of printouts made in a printing operation, and transmits the generated use information to a management apparatus. A machine information data base stores old use information of the printing machine and a threshold value of a predetermined number of printouts in association with the printing machine. Upon reception of the use information sent from the printing machine, a machine management server stores the use information in the machine information data base and counts up the number of printouts of the printing machine. When the counted number of printouts exceeds the threshold value stored in the machine information data base, it is determined that preventive maintenance for the printing machine is needed. When it is determined that preventive maintenance is necessary, the machine management server sends instruction information instructing preventive maintenance to the maintenance terminal.

Abstract: A baud rate mixing transmission system includes a transmission apparatus and a reception apparatus. The transmission apparatus transmits data signals at predetermined different baud rates at time intervals. The transmission apparatus adds a baud rate switching signal indicating a baud rate of a data signal to the data signal. The reception apparatus detects the baud rate switching signal added to the data signal from the transmission apparatus, and receives the data signal in accordance with the detected baud rate switching signal.
