  • Publication number: 20240083024
Abstract: A spring constant correction device and method measure a position and attitude of a distal end of an articulated robot when the articulated robot is operated in a state where elastic deformation is compensated, compare measurement values of the position and attitude of the distal end and target values of the position and attitude, and correct a spring constant based on a result of the comparison. In case of the correction, the spring constant is corrected at a predetermined position based on at least three of: an angle of an end point attitude based on the measured attitude; a torque of the distal end in the end point attitude; an angle of the distal end in a target attitude; and a torque of the distal end in the target attitude. A program of such a method is recorded in a recording medium.

  • Publication number: 20230253197
Abstract: A mass spectrometer includes: a storage unit 411 which stores, for an ion having a predetermined mass-to-charge ratio, a reference value which is a value lower than a maximum value of a measured intensity of the ion, the maximum value being obtained by optimizing a measurement parameter of each unit; and a parameter adjustment unit 43 configured to adjust a measurement parameter of each unit such that a measured intensity of the ion having the predetermined mass-to-charge ratio equals the reference value when a sample containing the ion is measured.

  • Patent number: 6140732
Abstract: The lead portions have oval cross sections such that the dimensions of the cross sections of the lead portions parallel to the circumference of the armature are smaller than those of the straight portions parallel to the circumference of the armature are. Preferably, the cross-sectional area of the lead portions may be substantially equal to that of the straight portions. The lead portions may have circular cross sections such that the cross-sectional diameter of the lead portions is smaller than that of the straight portions. The method of manufacture for an armature coil conductor comprises the steps of working, which may be ironing preferably, the ends of the straight portions so that the lead portions have oval cross sections.

  • Patent number: 6053051
Abstract: It is possible to detect the compressive force being applied by means of the conventional compressive force detecting sensor. However, the time length and the magnitude of the compressive force fail to be detected and it is impossible to know the extent of damage as a result of the compressive force being applied. For solution of this problem, the compressive force detecting sensor of the invention includes a tape switch composed of a pair of belt-like electrode plates arranged in facing relation to each other with a predetermined spacing therebetween, said tape switch being covered with a pliable covering member therearound; a piezoelectric sensor having a cable or a film like shape laminated on said tape switch; and an outer shell of pliable material to cover said tape switch and said piezoelectric sensor.

  • Patent number: 5931037
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a cylindrical yoke including a bottom portion to which an opening 12a is formed to journal the starter output shaft of a planetary gear-type starter incorporating a planetary gear reducer, and an inner peripheral gear portion formed to the vicinity of the bottom portion, the yoke functioning as the field magnet of a motor in the planetary gear-type starter. The yoke is formed by subjecting a metal disk 10 to cold spinning. As a result the inner peripheral gear portion of the yoke and a thin portion can be easily formed and miniaturization, reduction in weight and cost reduction are realized.

  • Patent number: 5266074
Abstract: An intraocular lens system adapted to be implanted within a generally circular opening in an anterior wall of the capsular bag which normally contains the crystalline lens of an eye. The intraocular lens system includes a lens body having an annular groove which is formed in a peripheral portion thereof in a plane substantially perpendicular to an optical axis of the lens body. The lens body includes an optically effective portion located radially inside the annular groove, and an anterior lens portion and a posterior lens portion located on respective anterior and posterior sides of the annular groove. The intraocular lens system is secured in position within the circular opening such that an annular flap portion of the capsular bag which surrounds the circular opening is accommodated within the annular groove in the lens body.

  • Patent number: 5213579
Abstract: An intraocular lens including a balloon member formed of an elastomer and adapted to be inserted into a capsular bag of an eye, an optically transparent fluid which is injected into the balloon member so that the balloon member expands and fills the capsular bag, and a tube provided on the balloon member and having a bore through which the optically transparent fluid is injected into the balloon member. The bore of the tube is filled with and fluid-tightly closed by a gel filler. The fluid serving as a lens medium is injected into the balloon member through the tube, with the gel filler inhibiting leakage of the fluid from the balloon member.

  • Patent number: 4569192
Abstract: An apparatus for producing special yarn made of a fiber strand in which a number of fibers are randomly arranged along the lengthwise direction thereof, in which special yarn at least one of the yarn structural parameters, e.g., yarn count number or number of twist, changes along the lengthwise direction of the yarn.A pattern of change of the parameters of the yarn structure with respect to the length of the special yarn to be produced is stored in a central processing device, while a spun length of the special yarn is measured by a sensor. The yarn structural parameters are changed to correspond to the pattern set to the central processing device and the special yarn is produced by the yarn forming device using another central processing device of the spinning frame. This apparatus can be used for a ring spinning frame, an open end spinning frame, a fasciated yarn spinning frame, and the like.
