  • Patent number: 8639087
Abstract: A moving image editing method uses a recorder apparatus and an editor apparatus. The recorder apparatus records into a recording unit by use of a file format in which index data, which includes the reproduction information of the data of the frames of moving image data, is written after that data of the frames of the moving image data. According to the moving image editing method, while the data of the frames of the moving image data being recorded into the recording unit, the index data related to the data of frames already written in the editor apparatus is transferred from the recorder apparatus to the editor apparatus. The editor apparatus reads, based on the index data, the data of the frames of the writing file so as to perform a real time edition of the moving image data.

  • Patent number: 6591012
Abstract: A DV camera 38 provides DV data recorded on a tape 52 to a PCI bridge 43 through a DV data output terminal 57 while decompressing the DV data. The DV data thus decompressed are converted into analog signals with a video encoder 58 and outputted through an analog video signal output terminal 59. A video decoder 42 converts the analog video signals into digital signals. The PCI bridge 43 outputs the digital data to a graphic card 34. In this way, moving pictures provided from the DV camera 38 are displayed on a CRT 32. The PCI bridge 43 transfers the DV data provided by an interface 41 to a memory. The data stored in the memory 27 is written into the hard disk 26 under control of the CPU 23.

  • Patent number: 4864182
Abstract: A thin film EL display device wherein an EL layer is interposed between scanning side electrodes and data side electrodes which are arranged to cross one another. A data side driver IC, including switching elements for charging and discharging, is connected to the data side electrodes, and switching circuits for applying modulation voltage are connected to a pull-up common line of the data side driver IC. The switching circuits are provided with switches for removing the charge stored in the thin film EL device after the thin film EL device has emitted light and a capacitor for storing the removed charge, whereby the charge stored in the capacitor can be reused in the next light emission for the purpose of reducing power consumption.

  • Patent number: 4468659
Abstract: An electroluminescent (EL) display panel circuit comprises an EL display panel having four sides, a driver circuit for driving the EL display panel, the driver circuit comprising shift register circuits for selectively sending data in bi-directions, terminals of the EL display panel connected to the driver circuit, the terminals being led out from at least two sides of the EL display panel, and flexible substrates for supporting the driver circuit in such a manner that one of the flexible substrates corresponding to one of at least two of the terminals is symmetrical to the other of the flexible substrates corresponding to the opposing other of the at least two of the terminals.
